The Way You Make Me Feel

When you smile at me

I feel all warm inside

And when you talk to me

I feel so strange

Because my love for you

Is greater than anything else

It will last forever

And never go away

The way you make me feel

Something I admire

A feeling I feel all the time

Of which I’ll never tire

When you ignore me

I feel depressed

And when you’re mean to me

I want to die

Because my love for you

Overpowers all other emotion

Takes control of my life

Every time you speak

The way you make me feel

A feeling I love

When I look at you

I see an angel from above

When I hear your voice

I feel my love for you

But when you flirt with me

I turn away

Because my love for you

Is a secret that I share with no one else

Something that I hold with me

Never shall you know

The way you make me feel

A feeling I adore

I just can’t get enough of you

I’ll do anything for more

Whatever you do

I want to do too

Because maybe then

You’ll notice me in return

Because my love for you

Outranks my friendships

My free time

Is yours to command

The way you make me feel

The best in the world

It’s a feeling that makes me

Want to be your girl

Day and night

All I think of is you

I feel my love for you

Every second of my life

Because my love for you

Is becoming my life

You’re becoming my world

More and more each day

The way you make me feel

I will always love you

There’s nobody better

This I know is true

This poem is dedicated to a boy that I see in school every day, a boy who flirts with almost every girl, a boy who I know I have no chance with, but I love anyway. I would tell you his name, except there’s always the chance that he or one of his friends would see this, go straight to my profile, and, in a matter of seconds, know who I am and how I feel. If you know me, though, you should know exactly who this is. Thank you for reading this, but you don’t have to review. If my poem describes your feelings for someone as well, though, I would like to know.
