When I needed a shoulder to lean on

Thank you for always caring Even when I pushed you away

Thank you for never giving up on me When I had long given up on myself

Thank you for seeing the best in me And helping me to bring it out

Thank you for laughing when I needed to laugh And making me laugh along too

Thank you for being the best friend I needed When times had gotten hard

Thank you for teaching me the meaning of friendship And how to care deeply about someone else

Thank you for making me follow things through to the end Even if I said I'd never do it

Thank you for giving me the strength that I needed And making the impossible possible
