New Freebie:

I'm supposed to be reading through my nanowrimo novel and taking notes on it but I'd much rather read other people's stuff. Since I'm feeling generous (and maybe crazy), I will give one depth review each to the first five people who name a story of theirs I haven't reviewed. Please stick to stories, though, 'cause I find it hard to say things about poetry. :)

Edit: It can also be a chapter of a story, if I've started reading something of yours.

12/18/2010 . Edited 12/18/2010 #2,412

wow, you aer feeling generous/crazy ;)

How about Narq's 'You, Me' :)

12/18/2010 #2,413

You procrastinator you! Well, I'm more than happy to help =)

Please review any of the chapters in Show, Don't Tell.

12/18/2010 #2,414

Any chapter of DECK :D

12/18/2010 #2,415

Hmm, neat freebie. Any chapter of Shadows, then, please and thanks. (I'm pretty sure you've never reviewed that one D:)

Any chapter of Silver Glass. You rock, Lyra!

12/18/2010 #2,417

Alrighty! I'll check these out ASAP.

Lustful Muse

I'll give one review to the first person to correctly guess the name of my avatar character AND the name of the cartoon he appears in (the FULL name).

*Note: I only review stories. If you're story is over 3,000 words, choose a chapter that's approximately the same length and I'll review it. If I'm feeling generous (and I'm really into your story), I might decide to review other chapters. Heck, even the entire story.

Let the guessing commence!

12/18/2010 #2,419

The cartoon is The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack, and the silly chap in your avatar is, of course, Flapjack.

Lustful Muse

That was fast, good job! Which story would you like a review for?

New Freebie

2 EF reviews or 1 Depth review to the person who correctly answers the following question.

In Baroness Orczy's The Scarlet Pimpernel she likened the villain, Chauvelin, to what animal nearly every time he appeared in the narrative?

12/22/2010 #2,422

...A fox?

12/22/2010 #2,423

A falcon

12/22/2010 #2,424

Lyra got it right! 'Foxy' was the adjective used most often to describe Chauvelin.

Will PM to sort out further details.

New Freebie:

I'll give one depth review to the person who can correctly guess what show I watched with my dad every Saturday morning when I was growing up.

It's not a kids show. Family friendly, but children are not the target demographic.

It's still on tv (in the US).

1/4/2011 #2,426

Star Trek! XD

(that's what me and my dad always watched, even though I never had any clue what was going on. haha!)

1/4/2011 #2,427

I'm not sure if it's 'cause it's slow or the question's hard, but I'll give a couple more hints now. :)

-It's non-fiction.

-It's been around for a few decades. And it's still an active show (not just in syndication)

1/4/2011 #2,428

The Today Show?

1/4/2011 #2,429

CBS the Early Show?
