The Little Antique Shop is exactly what would be expected of an antique shop. It is rather cluttered with all sorts of items: books, kitchen supplies, old trunks, furniture, etc. The antique shop is actually a cover for the O'Donnell Detective Agency. There is an office in the back with its own entrance for the agency's clients.

Bridget made her way into the antique shop and headed straight for the back rooms, stopping in front of her brother's office. She knocked on the door and then stepped inside. "Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I'm back."

"How did it go? Are you all right?"

Bridget chuckled a little. "I'm fine. He is only about as bad as any of the other guys I have had to talk to before."

"Bridget, you need to be careful. I don't want this guy hurting you."

She shook her head. "As I said before, I'm fine. Just promise me that you are going to keep your promise. Dad can't know about any of this."

Bradley sighed. "I already said I would. You better know what you're doing."

Bridget sat behind the counter at the antique shop. Her dad and brothers were busy working in the back so she had to sit out at the store in case anyone stopped by.

Patrick stood fidgeting down the street from the antique shop, staring at the sign. One week was the proper amount of time, yes? Was there a proper time? Patrick much preferred predictable games such as global economics. Shaking his head slightly, he crossed the street and went in side. The bell above the door jingled as it opened.

As the door bell jingled, Bridget looked up from the newspaper. "Hello there, stranger."

Patrick was nonplussed. He probably wouldn't recognize a joke if it slapped him across the face, especially in his current state. 'Er, I'm Patrick Connelly? We had dinner a week ago?"

Bridget chuckled and shook her head. "I know who you are. It was a joke."
1/14/2012 #7

"Right...so you said I could stop by your shop and...here I am. Stopping by."

"I can see that. Is there anything I can do for you today?" She glanced towards the back door and then turned back to Patrick. "I'm stuck here for a couple more hours but after that my evening is free."

"Shall we go to dinner again, then?"

1/14/2012 #10
Danielle Thamasa
"Sure. Yeah, that would be nice."
1/14/2012 #11

"Good. Shall we visit Luigi's again, or somewhere else?"

Bridget shrugged. "I guess Luigi's would be fine."
1/14/2012 #13

"Alright then." Patrick looked around the shop a bit. "An...interesting little place you've got here."

Bridget looked around the familiar little shop and nodded. "Yeah, it pays the bills for the family."
1/14/2012 #15

Patrick sniffed. "Smells like...my parents' apartment."

Bridget sat there for a minute. "Um, I guess that is a compliment."
1/14/2012 #17

"It's a sort of musty-peppermint smell. An old-person smell."

"I don't know. I kind of like it," Bridget said."Everything in here has character, a history to it and that's nice."
1/14/2012 #19

Patrick shrugged. "if you say so."

"Well I do say so," Bridget answered.
1/14/2012 #21

Patrick tugged at his collar, at a total loss. "Well, I'll pick you up around seven, then?"

Bridget smiled and nodded. "I'll be here."
1/14/2012 #23

"Right." Patrick nodded and left the shop.

Bridget sat there for a few minutes before getting up and heading back to Bradley's office. "I guess last week was a success after all. He just came to invite me to dinner. Wish me luck."

(Patrick went to talk to Henry at the Family Home.)

Bradley looked at her. "Bridge, do I have to tell you to be careful?"

"No, but you just did anyway."

"Seriously, sis. You are stepping into dangerous and shark-infested waters."

"Brad, I can take care of myself, okay? Now, can you watch the store for a little while? I need to go change for later."

Bradley let out a deep breath but nodded. He walked out to the store counter and Bridget left for home so she could change into something a little nicer.

At the stroke of seven, Patrick pulled up in front of the shop. Should he knock on the door or just wait? Oh, hell. This was all too vague.

When the car pulled up, Bradley moved away from the counter and walked up to the front to look out the window. He didn't even bother to yell for Bridget. Instead, he just stood there and watched the car. Was this guy even going to get out of the car to escort Bridget properly? Bradley let out a deep breath. At least this was not a real relationship.

Patrick put his hand on the horn, then winced and thought better of it. He got out of the car and walked up to the door. Seeing the "Closed" sign, he knocked.
