Philip put Abby down when they got to the door and knocked. His mother answered the door and grinned when she saw who it was. "Phil," she said pulling him into a hug, "Oh, I've been so worried about you. You haven't stopped by in two weeks."

"I've been busy," Philip said, "In more then one way."

He gestured towards Abby. "Mother, I'd like you to met Abigail."

His mother turned to look at her and she smiled. "How do you do dear?" she asked, "Oh, won't you both come in?"

She held open the door for them and continued to smile. Philip took Abby's hand and lead her into the house. When they stepped inside a young girl came up to them and grinned. "Phil," she said, "Who's your friend?"

Philip knelt in front of her and smiled. "That's Abby," he told her before standing up and turning back towards Abby. "My younger sister, Annie," he explained, "She wasn't planned, that's why there's such a large age differnece. She's only eight."

Philip chuckled and ruffled his sister's hair. "In a way," he said, "In a way."

Then he turned to his mother who was smiling at them. "Are you saying...?"

"Yes mother," he said, "We're going to get married."

"Oh Phil," his mother's face lit up, "I knew that you'd come through one day."
