A british army lorry rumbled up outside the Gpo.Soldiers streamed out shouting curses and daming the the rising.Officers barked for them to take up firing positions.

Among the pandemonium Alex was pushed from the lorry and landed face-first on the ground."Get up soldier!"An officer barked."Take up firing position!"

Alex felt his heart quicken to an unbearable pace.He expected a shot to be fired any minute. He scrambled into a crouch behind a post-office box for cover.

A troop of cavalry made its way down the street.

Laura pulled off her hat and held it in her hand, walking down the street. She was lost for a little bit until she saw someone and waved.

"'Scuze me." she said, apprehensive by nature. "Do you have any idea how to get to the town centre?"

"What brought you here?"

2/20/2009 #26

"First it was a chance to go see the land of my ancestors, then it turned into a position as a Robin Hood for the IRA."

She shrugged.
