this 6 mi run i wanted to go on today might just not happen - the snow is still coming down, crazy blizzard ugh!

i wonder if the gym is even open. i might call them after noon and then hang up if someone answers just to be sure, hahaha.

no that's mean i should probably tell them why i called ;D

Today, I finally found the nearby meadow that's supposed to be good for running (coincidentally, I was trying to do a 6 mile route as well), but every path I took, I kept on hitting a parking lot or the river.

I was kind of tempted to circle around until I could find and follow another jogger to see where they went, but felt super stalkerish, so I left.

Aw. When the weather isn't a blizzard outside like it is today and I'm forced to do (basically) a 60 min run on a dreadmill ughhhh, I usually end up running the nature trail near my house.

But it's only about a 1.5 mile route, so I have to come up and do the rest around town - trying to avoid all the stoplights I possibly can, geesh!

I should be a more careful runner in town - back in the Fall when I was running outside the most, I almost got hit a few times :/ Not good. Wish the nature trail was more than a short jog!

now that i've done my run, i can focus on my wcc for this month, heh

which is going to be super super weird and probably not successful to outside readers but me b/c it's like a giant inside joke

but...kinda using wccs lately for just "fun" writing and not the serious kind, hahaha

I know we're not all that active lately since life gets in the way, but would anyone be interested in reviving the -v game with me? It doesn't look as though it's been reinstated since the rabble passed into locked territory and it used to be quite fun!

sometimes, I have bizarre thoughts in the dead of night, and then in the morning I feel surprised :)

I miss our Skype chats, Globe. That was a long time ago, but it sure was fun. Also, I cannot believe how immature I was 5 years ago; I hope you all can forgive me.

I think that sort of self-aware retrospective embarrassment is normal with aging. I cringe at things I did two years ago, and way more at things farther back haha.

Speaking of awkward hits of nostalgia... *pops head in awkwardly*
