[[Haha. That's the one we both agreed on. Or Maregan. Teehee. But, that might be too complicated. Megan just sounds like a name in itself]]

Justin rolled his eyes, leaning against the wall. "They'll be fine. They just want attention." He put his phone back in his pocket and crossed his arms over his chest while he watched Aria. "Seriously, don't worry about it." He checked his watch, worried about being late and losing the reservations.

"Okay." She sighed, watching him check his watch. Biting back a smile, she shoved into the hallway. She tried to imagine his plans for the evening. He seemed excited, which made her all the more excited. Even if he took her to some run-down little hole-in-the-wall, being with him was all that mattered. She clung to his arm.

[[Aria Entering]]

Aria walked into the room, kicking off her shoes. She flicked the switch on the wall and scanned for his bag. Her eyes landed on the canvas duffell. She could hear the puppies whining in the bathroom, probably noticing the thin slab of light leaking under the bthroom door. "Shh, shh, shh..." She hushed them, picking up his bag and heading back into the hallway.

[[Aria Entering]]

Aria flicked the lock, throwing her weight against the door. Her body rocked with a sob, shaking violently. The entire encounter still had her rattled. The vampire deserved to by beaten and taught a lesson, but Justin was about to take it too far. She flashed back to the moment on Dun Road. The look in his eyes when he killed the tracker. It was the same look now, violent and dangerous. Something had snapped.

She sunk against the door, pulling her legs into her chest. She began to cry. Her cheast heaved with each swell of tears. Everything had been perfect, too perfect. She loved Justin. Nothing could ever change that, but the man in the hallway. That was not Justin. That was someone else, something else.

Aria heard the rattle of the doorknob. Her heartbeat thundered in her ears, loud and deafening. Fear settled in her gut, making her sick to her stomach. She let out another heart-wrenching sob, pressing her back harder against the door. She knew he could force it down and when he threw his wieght against it, she thought she might scream.

Scrambling to her feet, she moved across the room to her duffel. She dumped the contents onto the bed, searching through it frantically. Her fingers met with the cool metal of her desert eagle. She grasped it, bolting towards the bathroom and slipping inside. Cas and Peaches yipped with excitement, clawing at her bare ankles to be held.

"Shhh..." She pleaded with them, leaning against the door.

The gun was not loaded. She knew that for a fact, but Justin didn't know. She tried to pull things into perspective. She was standing in the bathroom, clutching an unloaded gun and shaking like a dead leaf in a snowstorm. Her mind started drifting towards Logan, but she severed those thoughts quickly. If Logan were with her, he would just be another target.

Would Justin hurt her? Not in a million years, yet her hysterical mind somehow convince her otherwise. He was just trying to protect her from the vampire, her heart was trying to speak. But his voice. The look in his eyes. She wiped away the tears, holding the gun at her side.

Aria heard the door crash open. Her breath caught in her throat. She whimpered, her body shaking. She blinked long and hard, the tears streaming from her eyes.

*Justin entering*

The door slammed behind him as Justin stalked into the room. He slung her bag over his shoulder. From the bathroom he could hear the puppies begging for attention. Sniffing the air for Aria's scent he sauntered over to the bathroom door. "Aria! Get out here!" His fist banged against the bathroom door, demanding for Aria.

"Please Justin, leave me alone." She pleaded. The impact of his fist caused the door to tremble. She tried to focus on breathing, though panic made it difficult. "I just want to stay in the bathroom for a little while." She spoke with a little less conviction than before, afraid of feeding his temper.

Justin growled. He didn't have time for this. His hand gripped the doorknob and twisted it, glad to find it unlocked. The door banged open, bouncing against the wall. "Let's go," he demanded, gripping her wrist. That's when he caught sight of the gun. His eyes drifted back to hers, and he gained a little part of himself back. "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" he snarled.

"You've lost your fucking mind, Justin." She tried pulling away from him, but his grip was too strong. Her wrist started to throb. "And you're hurting me." Tears leaked from her eyes. The gun trembled in her hand. A shaky finger hovered over the trigger, though that hardly mattered.

Cas and Peaches slipped out the door and into the bedroom.

"Let go." She pleaded, shoving the barell into his stomach. It collided with his tensed muscles. Her eyes lifted to his, bloodshot from balling.

Justin paled, feeling as if the breath had been punched out of his lungs. He felt the gun press against his abdomen. He released his hold on her, his lips forming into a grim line. It hurt more than Anna, more than losing his child that he never got the chance to know. Seeing her, feeling her like this was killing him. He was only protecting her before, but now he was losing her faster than he got her. "I'm taking you somewhere safe," he said in a stern voice. "Put the gun down, Aria. I don't want to hurt you," he threatened. His fists trembled at his sides.

Aria glared at him, setting the gun down on the countertop. "Would it be that easy for you?" She shouted, her eyes welling up with fresh tears. "To hurt me?" She shook her head, letting the wetness collect on her chin. She clenched her fists at her side. "I love you, Justin, but you can be such an asshole." She growled, throwing all her weight into a punch.

2/12/2010 #193

Justin's face snapped to the side. He groaned, staggering backwards. Blood seeped from his nose and mouth, but he didn't care. "Goddammit, Aria!" He shouted. Anger bubbled up in his chest once again, but his eyes were no longer crazed. He was just desperate for Aria. Justin felt like he was losing her for good. As long as he kept her safe it didn't matter if he lost her. She deserved better than him anyway. He had just proved that. "I'm trying to protect you! Are you that fucking blind? Why the hell do you think I got so angry in the first place? I don't have time for this shit. Don't you dare fight me, because you will lose." Justin grabbed the gun and threw it in the bedroom. It slid across the floor, stopping under the bed. He bent down gathering Aria in his arms and throwing her over his shoulder. He carried her into the bedroom, ignoring the sounds of the puppies.

Aria did not appreciate being slung over his shoulder. "Justin." She growled, beating her fists against his back. "Put me down." She ordered, though she knew it wouldn't do any good. He was stronger than her, he was bigger than her, and his mind was made up. "This is the worst date EVER!" She finally gave up, sinking against him. All her blood was rushing to her head, inspiring an ugly headache.

She watched the puppies race around the room, galloping after one another.

Justin's hand rested on the back of her thigh. That's when he noticed her panties were exposed. He sure as hell wasn't about to let anyone catch a glimpse of that. It would only set him off. With an angry growl, Justin threw her on the bed, but not too hard. He made sure to be as gentle as possible. He hovered over her, his fingers working on the back of her dress. "Just be quiet."

Aria huffed, lying flat on her stomach. She stayed quiet, but not because of his order. She had nothing to say to him. She was being torn in two seperate directions. On the one hand, she was terrified of the new Justin. On the other hand, Justin was still Justin. She was mated to him. She loved him. She still experienced a pleasant hum when he touched her.

No matter what, he deserved to be punched in the face. She only hoped he had learned his lesson. She did not appreciate being threatened, yelled at, or bossed around. He did not own her, despite the connection. They were equals, bonded by some werwolf order. Fate, perhaps. She rolled her eyes at the thought.

2/12/2010 #197

Justin picked Aria up, her back resting against his chest. He slipped off the dress, letting it fall to the floor. He ignored the fact that she was naked except for her panties. Right now wasn't the time. He sat her down on the bed, avoiding her eyes. He tossed her a t-shirt and pants. "Get dressed." His eyes stared down into hers, angry, afraid.

Aria stared back at him. The murderous look in his pale blue eyes had vanished, replaced with something else. She averted her gaze, grabbing the shirt and threading her arms through the sleeves. "What are you doing?" She asked him, pulling on the pair of magenta sweats.

He could take the question anyway he wanted. She just wanted to know what he was thinking, what was going on beyond that stoic expression that he wore so well.

2/12/2010 #199

Justin didn't answer her, his face grim. He zipped up her bag, positioning the strap over his shoulder. "Are you going to come with me willingly or do I have to force you?" His voice was void of any emotion, his eyes once again clouding over. He had put his guard up. Justin was afraid that if Aria said the wrong thing he would blow up on her. At this moment he had no idea what he was capable of. He just had to get Aria the hell out of there. Now.

Aria sighed, stirring to her feet. She wiggled her toes into the converse sneakers, again not bothering to lace them. She grabbed her jacket off the floor, pulling it over the long-sleeved shirt. She doubted Justin would be in the mood to keep her warm. Not tonight. She bent down to stroke Cas and Peaches. "Are you coming back to feed them?" She asked, starting towards the door.

2/12/2010 #201

He didn't answer her again. Instead he grabbed her by the arm and towed her out of the room.

*Nevaeh Entering*

Nevaeh unlocked the door and walked inside, latching it closed behind her. "Whoa..." She laughed quietly and moved deeper into the room, setting her bag down at the foot of the bed, sitting on the mattress. She had no idea that there could be so much peach colored items in one room. Vae laughed again and shook her head slightly.

She combed her fingers through her hair and stood, pulling out an oversized tee from her bag to sleep in. Removing her shirt, Vae put the new on and unbottoned her jeans. She folded them neatly on the mattress and sighed.
