[No. She's 2.5 months at the most in a regular pregnancy.]

He nodded. "See you then," Duncan mumbled. He left the house, closing the door behind him. As he walked down Unity's too long driveway shivering in the cold he thought about how much his life had changed in the past few days. For years he had lived alone, occasionally going to the next town over for some femal company. He'd lived in the hotel or slept at the office occasionally. Now he was tied down, a baby on the way, and he was going to buy a house. Duncan shook his head. It was all so...ridiculous.

[[gah let me redo math... okay she looks nearly 3 months.]]

Unity started cleaning the dishes an picking up cloths. She let the pups out to go potty then let threm roam the house.

[Yup! So that's 12 weeks. Is she staying home all day?]

1/31/2010 #213

[[yep, she doesn't feel good...morning sickness.]]

[[Jaria Entering]]

Aira shoved open the door, landing her feet in the white snow. There were absolutely no prints, just a blanket of white. "This is so exiciting." She beamed, hugging the jacket closer. She almost skipped up to the door, but restrained herself and waited patiently for him to shut off the car. A few flakes drifted from the sky, catching in her blonde hair and glistening in the dull afternoon.

2/4/2010 #215

Unity peered out the window, heering voices. She blinked, not sure why they wre here.

2/4/2010 #216

Justin shut off the car, stuffing the keys in his pocket. He shivered when he stepped into the cold weather. He laughed aloud at Aria, standing by her side on the front porch. He looked down at her, his breath catching in his throat. She looked like an angel, standing there, snowflakes in her hair. Justin cleared his throat and knocked on the door.

"Justin, we need to stop at the store on the way home. We need puppy food and a little puppy bed and leash and a collar with her name on it." She leaned into him, leaning her head on his shoulder and waiting for someone to answer the door.

2/4/2010 #218

Unity walked to the door and opened it, ''hello.'' She said, looking between the two. The three puppies hid behind her, staring curiously. Unity self conciously wrapped an arm around her noticible stomach.

2/4/2010 #219

Justin shook his head, smiling. "Sure," he mumbled. When the door opened Justin's jaw tightened. His eyes flashed down to Unity's stomach and his eyes widened. "Umm..." He wasn't sure what to say. Sniffing the air, Justin realized his brother had been here. His scent lingered, wafting from the house. And Unity smelled like him. Justin couldn't stop staring at her stomach.

"Justin?" Aria felt him tense. She glanced up, watching him sniff at the air. She did the same, but perceived nothing but the scent of coffee. When his gaze dropped to the woman's stomach, Aria nudged him for being rude. "We're here about the puppies." She spoke when he started mumbling nonesense, flashing a pleasant smile at the woman.

2/4/2010 #221

Unity smiled at the woman, ''oh you're here for the pups, okay come on in,'' she said, stepping aside. She stared at Justin, trying to reframe from glaring. She somehow managed to keep a friendly look on her face. She wasn't exactly comfortable with letting him in her house, knowing how Duncan would react with his scent there.

2/4/2010 #222

Justin cleared his throat, watching his feet as he walked into the house with Aria on his arm. He was no longer angry at Unity, but Duncan was a whole other problem. Justin avoided Unity's eyes, looking anywhere but at her. He tapped his fingers against his thigh, anxious. Duncan would find out he was here and Justin wasn't ready for him. Somehow, over the past two months Justin had become soft. He knew it was because of Arianna, but he didn't mind.

He looked over at her, his eyes softening.

Aria noticed the shift in his mood. He went from being flirtacious and carefree, to suddenly rigid. When he looked at her, the discomfort seemed to melt from his pale blue eyes. She smiled to reassure him, hugging his arm tighter. "Please, tell me the puppies are still avaliable." She glanced around the living room, admiring the decor. Her eyes landed back on Unity.

She hardly even noticed the awkward air between Justin and Unity.

2/4/2010 #224

Unity pointed to two puppies, ''those two still are available for homes,'' she said, smiling. The female was light brown with a darker brown muzzle and the male was black with a white sock. Ricochette started barking at Justin and looked at Aria, cocking his head to the side.

2/4/2010 #225

When Aria squeezed his arm Justin gained a little confidence. He was ashamed of his actions at the hospital. Justin raised a brow at the puppy. He looked at Unity. "I'm guessing that one's yours?" He said, nodding toward Ricochette.

"Oh Justin, look how cute they are!" Aria squealed, releasing his arm. She sunk to the floor to greet the puppies. "Come here." She ushered them in a sweet voice, tapping her fingers against the floor for their attention. She glanced up at Justin, trying to gauge his reaction. "What one do you like most?

2/4/2010 #227

Both pups tackled her, licking her on the face. Ricochette sniffed at Justins feet then went to sit beside Unity. Unity looked at Justin and nodded, ''yes,'' she answered, smiling at Aria, both of them are sweet hearts but the boy plays a little rough sometimes.'' Unity said.

2/4/2010 #228

"Yeah, they're cute," he mumbled, stuffing his hands in his pockets. He looked down at the puppies and shrugged. "I like them both." he smiled when they both licked her face, leaving a trail of slobber behind.

"Maybe we should take them both." She laughed when the puppies licked her face, straining to push them away. They overpowered her, tackling her to the ground and pouncing on top of her. She covered her face, feeling their little tongues lapping at her cheeks. "Justin." She complained on a playful note, smirking up at him.

2/4/2010 #230

Unity laughed, ''well you can,'' she said, smiling at the puppies. Ricochette padded over to Aria, wagging his tail.

2/4/2010 #231

Justin chuckled. He was unable to resister her smile. "You have to train them," he teased. He picked up the boy puppy, staring him down. "Hey there little guy." The puppy licked his face and Justin scrunched his nose, setting the puppy down. He wiped the slobber off his sleeve and rolled his eyes.

"We'll take them both?" It came out sounding more like a question than a statement. Aria sat forward. The female pup settled calmly beside her, while the male galloped around haphazardly and knocked into furniture. "Justin, I think you two will get along." She laughed and nodded at the male. She scooped up the female in her arms, scratching her on the head with her fingertips. "And I think we will get along." She sweet-talked the little creature in her arms.

[[My B. She is asking it as a question to Justin. I will edit.]]

2/4/2010 #234

Justin smirked at Aria. She had no idea what she did to him. "Yeah, let's load 'em up..." Justin picked up the boy. He wiggled in Justin's arms, wanting to run around and play. "Little rascal," Justin grumbled. He looked down at his shirt and frowned. "I have dog hair on me."

Aria laughed, climbing to her feet with the puppy in her arms. The little female was already dosing off. Aria pet her belly, running her fingers along the soft downy fur. "Quit complaining." Aria teased, watching him struggle with the excited puppy. "Look, he loves you." She beamed, scratching the little demon's head. His tongue lolled out of his mouth, panting from all the exertion.

2/4/2010 #236

Justin looked down at teh puppy. "Yeah, yeah. Let's just get them in the car." The puppy finally calmed down and started sniffing Justin's jacket. Justin kissed Aria on the cheek, leading her to the door. He looked over his shoulder at Unity. "Thanks for the puppies."

Aria blushed when Justin kissed her cheek, wanting to pull him into a deeper kiss. She realized it was probably not the best timing, especially with the woman standing right there. She managed to control herself, focusing her attention on reality and not fantasy. "Thank you SO much for the puppies." She beamed at the woman, carrying her puppy towards the door.

She followed Justin out into the cold, snuggling the puppy to keep it warm. "I love you, Justin Wilder." She told him, following behind him a few steps. The cold seeped through her thin sneakers, numbing her toes.

2/4/2010 #238

Unity watched them leave and let out a breath, plopping down on the couch, running a hand through her hair.

2/4/2010 #239

Justin stopped and turned around, staring down at her. The puppy had fallen asleep against his shoulder. He cupped her cheek with his hand, reaching down to kiss her. His lips pressed against hers softly. "I love you, too." He grinned, pulling away. Justin opened the car door for her, waiting.
