If you note below, it'll say that I edited this post. Yes, as an Admin/Moderator here I can do this to any post, but we can all edit our own posts.
Editing a post is easy. At the lower right of each post to a forum are two links: Reply and Mod. Unless yours is a new topic, your post was a reply, so you know where those are. Click on the Mod link at the bottom right of the post you wish to edit, and you'll see something like this:
 Reply  Mod  Edit  Report Abuse  Ban User  Delete Post «
where the '' indicate graphical icons next to each. Most of those look pretty scary, but don't worry: unless you're a moderator or admin, you can't ban anyone. However, you can Edit the post, just look at the Edit in bold in the resulting list.
