Akira walked down the cold street, her heels made a soft clicking against the pavement. Every breath she took created an icy mist, though it was the only indication she wasn't a vampire.

She had intricate markings on her face, reminders of the past, though they added an exotic beauty to her. She had cat eyes, very green and they reflected in the moonlight, another indication of the beast.

Emily didn't let her surroundings distract her with painful memories. Instead she breathed them in, studied every object and movement as she was trained. In her peripheral there was an unsettling disturbance. She could feel the darkness in the rigid air of the night. Continuing on without a pause, Emily kept her hands at her sides. The blood rushing in her veins was smooth. The beating of her heart was calm, pulsing on cue.

She stepped out and flashed a grin, a hungry grin, and took a step forward, analyzing every one of the woman's moves.

Emily jumped, feeling her heart race in her chest. Her eyes focused on the markings on the vampire's face. Interesting. Emily took a few steps back. "Are you alright?" She asked, her voice uneven.

Akira inhaled the scent of the woman, much better. She took a step forward, "you smell delicious," she purred, her eyes focused on Emily's neck. She can see the slight raise of skin every time her heart beat, the heat of her body radiated and tortured Akira's thirst.

Emily trembled. "Just don't get blood on my shoes," she whimpered. She yanked her silver medallion from around her neck and pressed it to the vampire's forehead, waiting to hear the sizzle of her skin.
