If both a Twilight and Harry Potter movie came out at the same time, which one would more people go see? I know a lot of people like both series, but one's got to have more fans than the other. I'm personally a Twilight fan, but Harry Potter has had more time to expand its fanbase... But Harry Potter seems to be losing its hype while Twilight is getting bigger.

But anyway, who'd win the battle? Vampires or wizards?

I'd go see both. I like Harry Potter, but I'm no fan.

As for Twilight, I'm a fan with the book and plot, but not the characters. I can't say I like the characters, but despite that, I love the plot and the way the book is written.

But if to choose Vamps vs Wizards... Umm, I can't choose really, since it's more like a character battle.

But I think there are more Twilight and Edward fans rather than Harry fans.

Unfortunately, Twilight would get more visitors because all 16 year old girls want to see 'hot' Edward. Then again, all those other 16 year old girls want to see 'hot' Draco. I guess Twilight would win that battle over fandom, only because of the 16 year old girls that love the story.

Critics would definitely favour Harry Potter more though. Twilight was just horribly written, and the movie was equally as bad.

I'm a fan of the Twilight. I like the book much better than the movie, but that's because books are usually always better, in my opinion.

I would see Harry Potter. I liked Twilight, but Harry will always hold that special place in my heart. I've also been a Harry fan for nine and a half years, while I only read Twilight a month ago. I would probably catch the Harry premiere and watch Twilight later.

Even though I'm not really a fan of either, I'd choose to go see Harry Potter. At least it has an adequate plot line.

Twilight is ridiculous, and the movie is even worse than the book, In my point of view. So perhaps I'd choose Harry Potter over Twilight because of how much I dislike it.

Twilight. Absolutely Twilight. And I'm not a 16 year old girl.

Harry Potter, definitely. I hate Bella and Edward.

I agree. Although it was pretty cool to think that they filmed most of the movie where I lived. I still like Harry Potter more.

I like both Twilight and Harry Potter. Though, I must agree with you all, the Twilight movie was not good. Harry Potter, movie-wise, is much better. Twilight, in my opinion, is better book-wise.

I still plan on seeing New Moon and Harry Potter 6, though.

Both are good works of fiction, but I gotta root for HP. After all, it exposes us to the realities of life: friendships, relationships, death, pretty much everything you could think of. And the plot has no loose strings and the characters developed impressively. Not unlike Twilight, who shows us that immortality (if ever there is such a thing) is good and that a peeping boyfriend is just what you need (not to mention, a total control freak who doesn't loosten up around Bella even just a bit).

I just don't get it why people would pit these against each other. HP is far better than Twilight. Twilight is like a kid fairy tale next to HP.

Before I was introduced to Twilight I read Harry Potter. The plot and the characters drew me into the story. When I read Twilight I was a bit agitated. The writing was very poor and it was lacking a sort of essence. The story was good, but the characters didn't do it for me. If I had to pick between Harry Potter or Twilight, I would have to say Harry Potter. The writing is definetely very descriptive and enjoyable, Twilight is the same thing over and over with nothing else.

Wizards for the win.

HARRY POTTER.

I used to be obsessed with it, then I got obsessed with Twilight. But now, years later (lol), I have finally seen the truth.

Twilight sucks. As did the movie.

while i respect smeyer for selling millions more books than i ever will and getting girls to pick up a nove instead of watching reality gems like 'Megan Wants a Millionaire', twilight is just...bad.

As it is at the moment, I think Twilight would have would have more people going to see it. Unfortunately, the Twifag fanbase only seems to be increasing as of late. I mean, don't get me wrong; I'm a fan of Twilight too (well, the books), but those fangirls who believe they're destined to be Mrs Edward Cullen or Mrs Jacob Black really annoy me. Dx

xxmorethanthisxx

Euphi: Definitely, the fangirls drive me crazy. I'm like "Dude! Edward/Jacob isn't REAL!", although I wouldn't mind marrying a person LIKE jacob Black, I don't go saying he will marry me.

Harry Potter

Twilight would probably get more people to the movies, but HP is a much better written book series. The plot stands up more strongly and the characters are much more realistic...

I would probably wind up going to see both, but preferring HP.

In my opinion, you can't really compare the books. They're completely different and are both well written. It isn't Stephenie Meyer's fault that teenage girls decided to become all lustful over Edward. (Some might argue it is, but I doubt she planned on it becoming as popular as it did. No author can foresee that.) Harry Potter's hype wasn't driven by lust, it was driven by the simple fact it was a great entertaining series. That's the only fact that makes Harry Potter even a tiny bit better than Twilight. Literature wise, they're both great books.

I'll see the movies for both of them regardless. If I only had the money to see one I'd choose Harry Potter simply because Harry Potter is a big part of my childhood.

Harry Potter will always beat Twilight. I think the fact that millions of girls have fallen in love with Edward Cullen is really what put me off it. How can anyone fall in love with a fictional character? It's only something from someones imagination, only words on a page. Also Twilight completely changed the view of vampires, they're meant to be bloodthirsty and vicous, not sparkly and handsome.

Although Harry Potter is'nt great he's better

I think Harry Potter is way better than Twilight.I am a fan of both, but Harry Potter rocks.Plus ,Harry Potter is not a whinny teenage girl who thinks that everything is her fault.

Harry Potter is a boy who has real problems like the fact that he is an orphan, lives with his evil aunt and uncle, and has to defeat an evil wizard named Voldmort.

Bella has a mom and dad,has a hot, cough cough gay, boyfriend, who happens to be a vampire.

All in all Harry Potter is more interesting, though I have to say I am Team Jacob!

Harry Potter is sooooooooo much better! It shows friendship, death, love, and best of all, action! Unlike Twilight, which has barely any action and is completely mary-sue and WAY to romancy! Sure, there's a bit of action, but barely any!

Twilight has Edward. And the huge, mary-sue priss, Bella. Edward isn't even hot!!! He's FREAKING UGLY!!!!!!! And VAMPIRES DON'T SPARKLE!!!! Sure, the idea is "original", but it's also retarded, dumb. and gay! I mean, sparkling vampires? SERIOUSLY!!!!???!!!! Bella is just.....prissy.

The story is mary-sue cuz they IMMEADIETLY fall in love, and Edward is claimed to be "perfect", and Bella is liked by all the guys, and ugh!

Harry Potter is sooooo much better. It starts with a ten year-old boy, living with his cruel and mean aunt and uncle, and cousin. No body cares about him, and he is lied to about his parents, though he doesn't know it. Then he goes to a world that accepts him. But not everybody does, and that's what makes it great. Draco hates him, Snape hates him, and he messes up a lot. He meets two great friends though, who stick by his side till the end. Three, if you count Hagrid. And he learns he does have a place in his world, he is a great person.

Anyway, sorry if I offended you Twilight fans. I DO respect your liking for the book, so don't flame me. Thanks and to those who like HP, cyber high five!

P.S.-I got a PM from a friend on Fanfiction. And the person PMed me from FictionPress. Does anyone know how to PM on here? It's confusing me!

You can't really compare the books because they are totally different. But I would pick Harry Potter because it was a big part of my childhood.

I think more people would go see Twilight because the Harry Potter craze is practically over. The books ended about three years ago and the Twilight fandom didn't boost dramatically until after the first movie came out.

Harry Potter was also a book I, and many others could relate to. Death, love, friendship, bullies, growing up, school work/annoying teachers XD.

For Twilight, the characters seem like card board cut-outs. Everyone is very two-dimensional in the book. Bella is an almost exact clone of Meyer and Edward is just creepy. The first run-through of the book, the story line is entertaining. Though, I couldn't read the books a second time because I could only take so much of Bella whining all the time.

Just think, once the Twilight craze is over there will be something else. :/

Harry Potter=Win

Twilight=Fail

Trust me, I've read all the books in each series (minus that new Twilight book she came out with... Bree's Story or summat.) QAnd I've seen the first Twilight movie, and every Harry Potter movie.

Harry Potter is a much better read, you get so much more out of it, and the movies are absolutely incredible.

Twilight is... not for me.

I would say none of the two, because both series suck. Although Harry Potter is slightly better then twilight

Considering the toronto asian escort above mentioned, we can come to the conclusion that to give up wisely is a kind of more toronto escort mature life attitude. Though giving up toronto asian escorts sometimes is painful and costly,in the long run toronto escorts what we gain will definitely far out weight what we lose.
