10 years ago, I met a little boy. He did not know it, but he was very special to everyone. But especially, he was special to me. I knew him for only a semester, but he touched my heart in such a way that I never truly forgot about him. Zachary McAtee, although your body is no longer alive, your soul and memory will live on forever. May you rest in peace. Although this little boy was very sick, he never showed it. He didn’t know how to judge, didn’t know any different. However, because of this, he loved his family and others with an unconditional love that seemed untouched by the outside world. With that love, he touched me; a student who felt lost. After 10 years of keeping this inside, I felt it was time to write a small tribute. He meant a lot to me, especially because he had nothing but love and smiles for everyone. The story below portrays that love. May he rest in peace. Note. This story is not meant to be a comic or an illustrated book; it is a real story. I put it up for readers to read, enjoy and review. I ask that people kindly respect that. I appreciate and am touched that you have enjoyed it enough to want to draw it or whatever, but it is not for sale.
