Author has written 126 stories for General, General, Fantasy, Life, Politics, and Love.

I am an adult, but not strictly a grownup.

I am a conservative, but not strictly the kind Rosie likes to wordbash between bad jokes.

I am addicted to addictions, but not strictly because they're addicting.

I am The Mad Poet, speaking. I am better known in certain circles for my art, but all of you should be aware of my little secret--writing is much more interesting. I sincerely hope you derive even a fraction of as much pleasure from reading this as I get from writing it.

I live to serve.

Tossed up some poetry that's been done over the past couple of years, mostly as part of challenges, prompts, and excercises. I've been doing a little less poetry lately and focusing more on short stories and novels, but lately...oh, I don't know. I might have some of the old free verse left in me yet. We'll see.

When I was about 12, I got my first job delivering newspapers. I'm pretty sure all those papers weighed more than I did. Though I met some wonderful people, I think some folks get this job in hell, where it will always be a western Washington January.

An old poem about an old love. Anyone who's ever been in a long distance relationship probably knows how this feels, or maybe I'm the only one. Even years later, after everything, the smell of strawberries still makes my heart sting just a little.
