Author has written 4 stories for Life, Love, and General.

"Time flies when you're falling down."

~ Hole, "Garbadge Man"

"Got so much clit she don't need no balls."

~ L7, "Fast and Frightening"

Name: Bonnie

Age: 18

About Me: I am a college fresh(wo)man with dreams of becoming either a professional journalist for magazines like Rolling Stone and Time or an author (well, duh). I love to read and have been doing so since before I can remember—I actually preferred reading to playing with toys when I was younger. As far as music goes I am a huge fan of punk rock—real punk, not pop punk, although Green Day's pretty cool—and underground/alternative rock from the '80s and '90s, bands like Hole and R.E.M. I am also a huge fan of Taylor Swift and am not afraid to say it.

About My Writing: I mainly write prose, although what I'll probably be posting the most is poetry because I take forever to write stories and often end up never going through with the ideas I have because I suffer from frequent bouts of Writer's Block. (That bitch.) I like writing stories that have a dark, disturbing, or depressing element or theme to them because I find that side of the human psyche fascinating from a psychological perspective and enjoy probing at it. I enjoy reading books with unbelievably immoral protagonists (hence my love for Lolita—oh, Nabokov, how I envy you your mastery of a language that wasn't even your native one!) and therefore end up writing characters (or at least trying to write characters) who are seriously fucked up.

As for things I don't write about: I do not do horror, fluffy romance, or smut. I do write romances, but they are (hopefully) not sappy. While I won't rule out sci-fi or fantasy, I have enough trouble with coming up with stories set in the real world, so I probably won't be doing any world building any time soon.

Favorite Books: "Lolita" by Vladimir Nabokov, "Wuthering Heights" by Emily Brontë, "We" by Yevgeny Zamyatin (If you have not heard of this already, go buy it on Amazon right now. It's amazing. It's beautiful. It's way better than 1984. George Orwell is a fucking ripoff. Also go read Lolita. Right now.)

Favorite TV Show: American Horror Story

Favorite Movie: The Hunchback of Notre-Dame (Disney version, I have yet to watch any of the live-action ones all the way through.)

Other Info: I love all animals, cats and manatees in particular. I am also a proud feminist.

"It is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,

Signifying nothing."

~ William Shakespeare, Macbeth
