I'm Melissa. I am a senior in college and on my free time I write. I've been writing since high school as a coping device to express my feelings when my father was sick and eventually passed away. Sorry hate to bring a depress comment in like that. It took me eight years to finally get the guts to post my writing on here. I've been wanting to do this for years. So a little about my writing background I was really active in high school and took a creative writing class and I was in yearbook. Not only was I in yearbook, but I also work closely with the newspaper staff at the school since we worked in the same room together. In college, I learned more off the grammar side of writing. I tend to write about pretty deep real life problems. Most of my stories main topics end up being about suicide, abuse, rape, cutting, drugs, and other depressing topics. Most stories always ends with a positive uplifting ending. Also most of my stories also have a love interest. I really love writing stories about good vs. evil with the good side winning every time.

Anyways when I am not writing on my free time I am usually spending time with my friends or at the beach. Sometimes I spend my free time volunteering at an elementary school since I am going to college to be an elementary school teacher. I am in love with being outside and going on nature walks. I also enjoy taking photos of nature. Most of the time, my writing always reflects something about nature or the beach since I spend majority of my time there. So, yeah I'm rambling and I am just going to stop there for now.
