Author has written 3 stories for Fantasy, and Manga.

Hi, I'm Blick. I like writing and stuff. That's about it.

But seriously, a bit more about myself. I'm a guy in my mid-twenties who works as a Clinical Advocate while studying to become an RN. I used to RP a lot in the past on sites that will not be named and have published a few stories online before in places that don't exist anymore. This is really my first time stepping back up to the solo writing plate in a few years so I'm still kind of adjusting.

I like all kinds of stories whether they be silly and happy or grimdark and tragic. I'm also okay with pretty much any type of setting as long as it has a dynamic hook to it. My writings are mainly influenced by older RPGs and series. Big fan of Tokusatsu (Kamen Rider, Garo), video games, and visual novels. I've kind of fallen out of touch with anime in the last few years and lean more towards stuff from the 80s and 90s, so I haven't really looked at many new or currently airing series. Though I do always enjoy a good mecha show no matter what the era.

My stories and interests are all over the place. It's really hard for me to find something I don't like as long as it's not poorly written. Things I enjoy the most are weird and interesting hooks and dynamic characters. I don't mind common tropes and cliches as I believe they can be made interesting and fresh depending on how skilled the writer is. I enjoy a good, hotblooded action story as much as I enjoy a tearjerker. If you have something cool to suggest then throw it at me.

My writing schedule varies. As weird as it sounds I do most of my writing during the week while I'm at work. Not that that means I slack off or anything! But my job is pretty slow-paced and I'm sitting at a computer for about 8 hours a day with a lot of down time between assignments. I can generally crank out a Chapter around 6k words a day because I usually already have the general layout in my head and just need to bang my hands on the keyboard to make words happen. My updates will generally be in the afternoons (EST time) since I do other stuff at night when I get home. Weekend updates are rare since I spend that time relaxing and playing video games or doing other stuff. Occasionally I may hit a block and may go some time without updating, but I'll try not to let that last longer then a week unless it's a planned hiatus.

Don't be afraid to review my stories or just leave some comments. I know I'm not perfect as a writer and I'm constantly looking to improve, but It's hard to do that when you don't get any feedback. Ultimately any writer wants to know what people think of their work. After all, there's really no point in writing if you don't know if people are being entertained or not. So please, let me know what you think! Even if it's something negative I won't take offense. If you're going to read one of my stories or even if you don't get all the way through one because you don't like it, at least take 5 or 10 minutes to let me know what you didn't like so I can try harder in the future!

As said above I like reading all kinds of stories as long as they have an interesting hook. I generally try to return reviews if I see you have a story written, but if you there's something you want me to check out send it my way! I'll give my honest thoughts on it. I'll admit I don't like to be too negative so it's rare I'll give an outright bad review, but I will point out things that I think could be improved upon. Please don't take offense or anything the wrong way if I say something that seems negative! I'm just offering advice. I know my own writing isn't perfect but maybe we can help each other improve.

Not much else to say. If you want to know more than just ask!

Current Stories:

Bloody Shadows, Fleeting Dreams:

Betrayed by her uncle and chased out of her home, a girl becomes determined to end her uncle's reign and restore peace to the land. To do so she seeks out the cursed blade known as the Muramasa and makes a deal with the malevolent spirit that inhabits it. However, she soon comes to realize that to destroy a monster she may have to become a monster herself...

-Current running story. A reboot of a story I started a couple of years ago. I saw the first drafts I had and suddenly had the urge to continue it. Will try to update regularly which shouldn't be too hard since I have a good deal of the plot already written down.

Chiliarch: The Thousand in the Monochrome Garden

"We're friends, right? Yeah...something like that."

One night a group of friends who have drifted apart over the last year are called together by a mutual acquaintance who introduces them to the mysterious Chrome Cards; Magical conduits that call forth powers from a realm known as the Monochrome Garden. Soon they are pulled into a strange and dangerous struggle revolving around the mysterious cards and their magical powers...

-Current running story. I'll be honest, I'm not really into card games or anything in real life (though I did play MTG for a time), but I always found the concept of using cards as mediums for magic to be really cool. This doesn't really take any direct inspiration from anything but there will probably be some familiar concepts to other series that use magical cards as a main focus. Will try to update regularly but it really depends on how much interest people show.

Edelweiss: The Spirit Song:

Things aren't easy for an Alchemist in the capital of Auricula, especially when your workshop isn't very popular and close to shutting down. Young Lilien Weibe merely wants to prevent her workshop from closing and prove she's a capable Alchemist, but when she accepts the job of repairing a wandering swordsman blade she finds herself drawn into a grand adventure she never imagined.

-Somewhat inspired by the Atelier series but mostly just meant to be a Fantasy adventure. Currently on hiatus due to poor planning on my part. I wasn't exactly sure where I wanted the story to go after the first chapter which is really dumb. I'll get back to it eventually.
