Hi! Lilly here!

01-14-2017 -- Hi... It's Lilly. I know I haven't been here in a long, long time. I haven't written on my own in a really long time. I wanted to apologize. And I wanted to say that, eventually, I'll probably post something again. I wouldn't hold your breath, though. I'm not going to go on too much about why or what or anything, I'm just going to say that writing kind-of scares me right now. I guess, what I've been trying to say is, this account will probably be "dead" for a while. I likely won't even notice I have PMs or think to post more stories. Maybe I'll try and write something to post today. I dunno. I'm sorry. I hope you lot are doing well, and I want to thank you for everything you've done over these past few years - advice, PMs, Friendship, Reviews, Wonderful stories to read, etc.
- Thanks,
Lilly

06-19-2016 - Hey there. This is an important update, so please read it through. Thank you. I think this is the first time I've written an update in such a short time after a prior one. I guess, maybe I need to create another writing schedule. Once I get to figuring out which story, if any to continue. Which brings me to this... I put up a poll, so, if you've ready any of my stories, or want to, PLEASE take the poll. It should be on my profile (this) and if it isn't, please let me know (I'll check again now, just in case)! If you don't want to do the poll, or want to say more, a PM would be wonderful (though I understand if you'd rather not do any of it). Also, I've been debating my life and my idea about a career in writing quite a bit. So, if anyone has any feedback on any of my stories or poems, I would LOVE it, in a review or PM, if you can. Again, I understand if you'd rather not. Finally, if and when I do decide to "give up" my stories, I will probably remove them. Simply because I do not want them remaining forever unused on a website. With all that in mind, thank you, you guys are great. Even if I don't know you, or whatever (I can be bad with words when I'm emotional), many of you have been nicer than so many other people I know. So, thank you.

06-17-2016 - It's been a really long time since I've updated any of my stories. I'm probably putting them on hiatus. I am thinking about too much right now. In all honesty, I'm not sure any of the stories I have up are worth continuing. I'll probably put a poll out on which of the two people want continued, and then continue that one (if I get any responses). I'm sorry.

04-01-2016 - ARGH. I NEARLY PUT 2015 INSTEAD OF 2016!!!!!!!! Ahem. I finally posted another poem!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It felt like YEARS.

02-15-2016 - Um, I changed my username. to "Curiously-Morbid" XD I dunno why, at this point... Oh well. It used to be "Lilly-Wind"
Also, I say "haha" or "hehe" a lot. Why do I do that?

01-15-2016 - HAPPY NEW YEAR~! Okay, yeah. I'm a little late... better late than never? *shrugs* either way, so for the lack of activity on here... I'm just a lazy person. No need to be dishonest about it, haha. :) And finally, I hope you all have enjoyed all my writing~ Here's to another year of great writing and good fun!

How on Earth did I end up with 78 or so poems... ;-; I must be really boring... haha

Wow... Approximately sixty-five poems... ;-; I write too much. Haha :D

Alright! I'm doing (mostly) better with the whole spelling thing, so that's that! Yeah! :) Also, I've finished rewriting The Final Hope, and started working on more chapters!

Hello. Wow, I've not updated this in a while... school does get in the way... and I have school year round... Anyways, I'm slowly getting back into the swing of writing poetry, after a long break to think about who I am. I'm also updating my other stories, albeit slowly. I'm sorry I take so long... but I have sooo many ideas, so little time. Well, thank you for staying and reading, and I hope you enjoy!

(My writing is in the middle, so feel free to skip the random stuff about me.)

If anyone was wondering, I do draw my own profile images. This current one (as of 7/5/2015) is from a story I might work on after The Final Hope or The Yellow Rose is done. She is... oops, it's a secret :)

My name is... well, you can call me Lilly, (it's not my real name though, and I'm not going to tell you my real name).

Gender: ah, something.

Age: Never ask a person her age! :( If you really want to know, do the guessing game. I'm between thirteen and twenty.

Birthday: All I'm telling you, is that I'm an Aries, born in April.

I... realized I cannot come up with good titles. It's almost funny.

Beta status: I am about to start beta-reading for someone, so I am not available. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Favorite number: thirteen. Anything supposedly unlucky is awesome!

Worst qualities about myself: indecisive, somewhat oblivious, nosy, somewhat annoying.

Best qualities about myself: Caring, loving, smart, and loyal.

Current strongest Emotion: exhausted... but happy.

Favorite movie: I hate movies. And documentaries. And most television shows. Although... I may or may not be a huge Steven Universe fan... hehe

Favorite type of story to read: Fantasy, though I do have a thing for romantic tragedies.

Hobbies: Writing, writing, reading, writing, drawing, sleeping, singing, school, oh, did I mention writing?!

Dream job when I'm older: To work in a children's hospital, cheering up the kids. I think that'd be awesome, or perhaps another career in social justice. And, I REALLY want to become the poet laureate of the United States. Don't tell me it's impossible, I already know. :)

Possible career I could actually have: I would love to go into a career in coding. You'd be surprised how fun it is, lemme tell ya'. I learned a bit of how to code over the summer, and I've fallen in love with it the more I think about it. So, yeah, it's a possibility. :D

Meh. I probably couldn't code for a job, either. *sighs* maybe I should resign myself to being a lawyer, like everyone says I should be.

Favorite holiday: Pi Day, what else?

Favorite type of story to write: Um... fantasy? Sci-Fi? Anything I can be creative with. And avoid hugely intense action scenes. I'm not good at those. Oh, and it needs to NOT be in this world. Uh, the Earth, that is. Or at least this dimension. Or this reality. Why is that? Because then I have virtually no restrictions. Well I do, but hopefully you know what I mean. :)

Favorite animal: Psychrolutes marcidus, or Artemia salina.

How I create my pen-name(s): I pick a thing in nature, and a weather condition. Or I just act creepy. Either one.

If you need grammar or spelling advice, and are willing to learn, I am sort-of a beta-reader, but I am willing to answer any questions I can otherwise too. I'm not perfect at either anything, but I'd be happy to help. You can just PM me for advice if you'd like.

I'm also perfectly willing to take any review requests for stories NOT rated M. I will review with spelling and grammar, if you want.

My stories (Update schedule is not set in stone!):

The Final Hope

NOTE: Finally finished rewriting all of it!

Ah... this one. I've had this idea for about three four five years. And slowly been working on it since. Updates about every week depending on school and friends. Okay, I'll be honest. I thought updates about every week... updates about every two-three months. At the earliest... I know, I suck.

Main characters: Galia and Eeva.

Plot twists: Yes.

More info: In the story. LATER. I'll put character profiles and stuff on here when I'm done with the story and it's all posted. I rarely, if ever, do spoilers other than for friends and family.

Chapters: I have three chapters now, I think, and I'm working on number four!

Why it's being written: I love writing, and I love the idea I had. It's as simple as that.

Also, just for fun, all the characters in this story have names that have meanings very specific to who they are and their purpose. Feel free to hunt around for the name meanings, though some of them will be easier to find than others. For example, the meaning of Galia is: G-d shall redeem. I picked this because of some events that have, and will transpire in the story. Have fun~!

NOTICE: I know how to spell aura. Aurae are different from aura. They control aura. So please, don't think I misspelled it. Ninety-percent of what I misspell is on purpose. Thank you. (Thought it's more like fifty-percent now, lol)

The Yellow Rose

Yup, another one with a hugely creative title *sarcasm*. Updates every week to every two weeks. Again, variable with school and stuff. Honestly, probably less often. Okay, definitely less often. Maybe three times a year?

Main characters: Lilac and Carlos. (My drawing of Lilac is the cover image. I really need to update it, it rather sucks.)

Plot twists: Oh yes! I never write a story without a couple.

More info: Why do you want to know? Isn't it better as a surprise?

Chapters: A prologue, and I just have to finish typing up chapter one.

Why it's being written: Just a random idea. Besides, I need something to do when I'm bored in Algebra! And it's kind-of a story filled with cliches, just saying :)

(okay, maybe the entire point is cliches.)

Poetry

Oh yes, poetry. I write a lot of poetry. Too much, maybe. I happen to think my best right now is NONE of them... but I guess that's just my opinion.

I pretty much never post incomplete poetry, except by accident. I might post new poetry into groupings, but generally it's separate so people can pick and choose. I have no clue about the update schedule, it's whenever inspiration strikes. Everything I say in my poems is my truth, and it's only from the feelings I'm having at any given moment. Lately they've been a little sad, just like my mood.

Author's I would recommend are all in my favorites. :)

I would especially recommend BlueBoxonBakerst, BeverlyAmythest16, Sandiitos, Darkorian, Scott Pilgrim, and Red-Damascus-Steel. I hope you enjoy their stories (and poems) as much as I do!

Now for some facts about myself (as if anyone really cares):

To me, my friends are my family. I would do anything for my friends, just as I would do anything for my family.

I try to be kind to everyone.

I write from my heart. I pour my soul into every story, and the story (hopefully) reflects that.

I finally worked up the courage to post a story here. Finally. Okay, make that two.

I have Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and depression.

Music can make me incredibly happy, or bring me to the lowest of low feelings. And yet, I always listen to sad music for some reason, happy music sounds like clattering of dishes to me.

I think I am better at poetry than stories. Not that I'm that great at either :)

I am a person. I know, right. Big shocker there.

I switched schools... now I have even more friends to call family.

I know that five plus two doesn't equal seven. It equals bigger than six. (That was a stupid joke, wasn't it?)

Finally, I am happy to read almost any story not not rated M (though I occasionally make an exception). I'm also more than happy to just chat, so feel free to PM me! (I only bite during the full moon, since I'm a werewolf).

Thanks for reading this. Now you know more about me (and my awful sense of humor) than you would ever care to know.

Bye-bye, and have a GREAT day, :) You are amazing! :)

~Lilly

The Window and the Park
A fairly long-ish poem about a memory of mine and how I feel about it now. Just to be clear, the memory represents a piece of the situation. It's a happy poem towards the end but it deals with adults trying to leave and stuff in the middle. I dunno. You are forewarned.

Just a poem about my opinion on cutting down trees. Even if we can't save them all, shouldn't we be trying to find cures to the rots and diseases that ravage the things that give us so much air? I suppose, maybe it is too much. But I can dream. Also, the poem is written rather simply, I guess.

I guess, this poem isn't that good. It was my attempt to get out some feelings I'm having, without actually having to say a word or show anyone (in real life). It is about people whose words try and tear at you, and finding a way to just forget and move on (probably could've explained it better, oh well).

A poem about how depression feels/felt to me, and slowly learning to fight against it. Right now, I'm learning to let light shine through my world of glass. It takes time, a lot of time, and a lot of work. But eventually, the glass will become transparent. No matter how dark the glass becomes, there's bound to be something within it worth fighting to make it light again.

I decided to try something a little different: writing a song. I do suppose this could be conceived as slightly creepy, though I don't think it to be. Just a quick song about life, and general thoughts, I guess. I'd say it'd have a 3/4 tempo, I think. I dunno. I don't know anything. Haha.

A poem/song dedicated to a good friend of mine. It's really my way of putting words to what I need to show my friends: trust. Because my friend made me realize this: If I don't show trust in the people I care about, and who care about me, not only is the world is a lonely place, but I hurt the people I care about and who care about me.

Opposites
Opposites attract, or so they say. But we tend to forget how similar two opposites really are. Sure, they sounds different on the outside, but you might notice similar themes if you look deeper. Hope in Her Eyes

A short poem in a weird format... (I think it's a real format, I learned it way back in elementary school). Anyways, the theme of the poem is seen if you take the first letter of each line. Each stanza makes a word. Also, as you may be able to guess, the poem is about what else, but dreams. (Dreams seem to be my entire life, lately). So, without further ado, enjoy (If you want to).

Really, just another really, really, REALLY short story. I think it's even to short to call a flash fiction... anyways, it isn't as much about the stars as the title might infer... So, that's that. I guess it is more about life, in a way, and what I see as important. It probably won't be apparent though. So, I guess that's all I have to say. Enjoy!

I Love Like You
I love like you. I'm a lesbian, but I still feel the same feeling as you: love. Hate me all you want, but I'm done denying it. I've pretended for too long to be something I'm not, either to not be interested in *that* at all, or to like boys. But I'm done pretending. So, here it is, my poem for myself and her.
