Author has written 2 stories for Historical, and Young Adult.

Hello FictionPress! I had no idea this sight existed until 2 minutes ago, so this may turn out a bit rubbish. If it doesn't, then yay! My name is Lucy, and since the age of 9 I've wanted to be a writer. I had a really great teacher back then called Mr McRae, who made me fully realise how much I love literature. He was great for a lot of other reasons, but I'm so thankful for him encouraging me how he did. My current English teacher is fantastic too, so I think great teachers can make a huge difference in the world.

I'm Scottish, which means I'm the same nationality as the current Doctor Who, and that's pretty cool. I also really like haggis - seriously, being in England on Holiday and not being able to find it any where can be a real pain. Scotland is honestly one of the most beautiful places in the world, especially Shetland.

I love birds, cats, mythology, field hockey, alternative music and hanging with my nerd army. These are some special friends who truly get me, and we all help each other through tough times. Also, there aren't many other people in my school who enjoy reading (I know, the horror) and aren't jerkfaces.

My religious status is somewhere along the lines of "it's complicated". My parents think that I'm an Aetheist, but I kind of believe in every religion all at once, if that makes sense. I think they all coexist with each other, sometimes Jesus hanging out at the pub with Krishna or something, everyone happy and friends with each other. It's just that you only see the parts that are relevant to your religion.

At the moment I'm writing a novel called The Wulver, which I shall post up once ready. Just now I have a creative essay from school, and an entry for a short story contest. Be sure to check out my stuff on Same username. OK, see ya!

Drifting snowflakes
A tragic short story based off some thing that are true. In 1918, the last white tailed eagle, an albino female living in Shetland, was shot dead. These were her last moments, and how a boy tried to save her. I entered this in a short story contest but unfortunately it didn't win. The boy is fictional.
