You know how when you listen to a song you're transported to another time with people you cherish? You travel through time and you travel to different places as the melody rings through your ears? This story alludes to the tragedy that can entail.

When we make mistakes, where do they go? Millions of images, words, and characters are forgotten or disposed of everyday but the question is where do they go? Just because ideas are forgotten doesn't necessarily mean that they're worth nothing.

I have been in love a few times in my life. Each of them hurt leaving or being left, but each of them are more valuable than they know. I don't know if this is homage to them or more of a message to my ultimate lover, but I hope that you, the reader, will read and be engulfed in all the good things that love can bring, despite the pain it can also give.

My grandmother passed away recently and I was shoved into a plane to travel across the country to go to her funeral. In that short amount of time I was so consumed and engulfed by so much emotion and I began sketching out this poem right after the funeral in the midst of all I was going through. Hopefully people who have lost someone they love can relate to what I was feeling.
