Author has written 2 stories for Sci-Fi, and Supernatural.
I'm largely a science fiction writer. My inspirations include Jules Verne, Isaac Asimov, Sir Arthur C Clarke and H.P. Lovecraft, as well as the artwork of Hansreudi (H.R.) Giger. As a result, I believe sci-fi is less about aliens, interplanetary or inter-dimensional travel, and more about the fascination and fear that Man experiences as he wanders through life and realizes just how large the world is and how small he is by comparison.
The Earthen Empire series takes place in the 23rd Century, after a rebellion overthrows a corrupt American oligarchy and conquers most of the world under a single Empire. These short stories are glimpses at lives within the world the Empire carves, making alliances with alien races, fighting for survival against others, struggling against civil war and the complications and implications of coexistence with artificial intelligence. These stories are a statement of a truth: that even as massive conflict seems to tear the world we know apart, life will go on and flourish, fraught with its intricacies and eccentricities that color it so beautifully, a great testament to the place of man in this bombastically big and beautiful existence.
