![]() Author has written 5 stories for Fantasy, Sci-Fi, and Supernatural. About Me Hi everyone, Carlos here. There is no release schedule, and probably never will. I write because I like to, and have no intention of "going pro" (And lets be honest here, unless it is a technical journal in my native language, I'm not at the level of writing professionally). My preferred genres are fantasy and sci-fi, but I'm quite eclectic when it comes to reading, so if you know of a really good story, point it out. Edit 2020: I'm trying to return to old projects. Everything was dropped four years ago. My mother developed symptoms of a rare disease, and life kind stopped. There was simply no time to write anymore. Now, as I return to these stories, I feel that I must rewrite everything from the ground up. My Project(s) Borrowed Time [Discontinued] For some reason I don't think weaving a story about an alternate history where the USA is controlled by nazis is a good idea; New Game Plus [Being Re-Written] I still like the basic outline of this story, but it must be reworked; Retake the Night [In Hiatus] This story will probably be reworked in the future; Scalpel Knight [Status: Ongoing] This story began with only two clear scenes and one plot device planned. Namely: the starting scenes, the ending scenes and the black stone. So yes, everything else was written as the story progressed. This could have been good. But certainly had the potential of being atrocious. I'll plot this story properly. Forums Corner The Reviewing Crusade: FictionPress is out of balance. The majority of people want to: post their stories, find readers, get reeviews. The problem however is in the "getting". They want to "get" reviews. Why not "give" them to others? - An utopian discourse? Maybe so... But in order to move away from the current review trading system, we all must give the first step. Join this idea, give some reviews without expecting any in return. Recommendations List Pain -Follows the story of a good natured girl who placed her trust in someone she thought was her best friend, but is ultimately betrayed by her. Their relationship eventually descends into physical and emotional abuse. Which path will the former friends follow: Reconciliation or mutual destruction? This and other interesting readings may be found at the community The Hopping Penguin Store. |
