Author has written 2 stories for Fantasy.

I am an aspiring author, and if you're reading this then I guess you think my work at least looks moderately interesting.

For fantasy my favourite author is Brandon Sanderson (especially the Stormlight Archive), and I would list my influences as Glen Cook's Black Company series, Steven Erikson's Malazan Book of the Fallen and George R R Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire.

For science fiction I would have to rate Pierce Brown's Red Rising trilogy as the greatest ever. Of all time. Aaron Dembski-Bowden's 40K books (especially his Night lords trilogy) come in second.

Of course, I can't not mention the two titans of Historical Fiction, Conn Iggulden and Bernard Cornwell, Whose Conqueror and Saxon series (respectively) both influences the story I am writing at the moment (special credit going to the Saxon Chronicles).

If you like my work I would greatly appreciate some feedback, and I welcome any constructive criticism or suggestions for improvement. Same goes if you don't like it (after all, how else am I going to improve?).

Forces of Nature Part 1 reviews
Superheroes are no longer a myth. The trouble is, they don't fly, or shoot lasers, or punch through walls. Most of them aren't even particularly inclined to be heroes. And they certainly aren't invincible. Bit of a deconstruction/satire of the genre. Full description inside. REVIEWS RETURNED.

The age of wonders is over. All that is left is a world of mud, blood and broken steel. Petty warlords vie for dominion over small towns, and through it all a man wanders, a bow in his hands and an old sword at his side. Drawn into a war he has no interest in, and caught in a bitter feud between two brothers, his actions will shape the fates of generations to come. Please R/R.
