Now I'm starting this off right , I am a born again Christian , I believe that God created a perfect world , we as humans given a free choice brought sin into the world . I believe that Jesus came to earth as a baby , grew up and lived a perfect life and then died for our sins so we can live with Him for eternity, but He rose again on the third day . The cowboy prayer

Our Heavenly Father, we pause at this time, mindful of the many blessings You have bestowed upon us.We ask, Lord, that You will be with us in the arena of life.

We as Cowboys do not ask for special favors. We don't ask to draw around the chute of fighting horse, the steer the won't lay, or to never break the barrier. We don't even ask for all daylight runs.

We do ask Lord, that You will help us live our lives on earth as cowboys, in such a manner, that when we make the inevitable ride, to the country up there, where the grass grows lush, green , and stirrup high, and the water runs cool, clear, and deep, that You'll take us by the hand and say -

When people ask if I'm a real cowboy

It depends on what you call a cowboy, if you call someone who just wears a cowboy hat and boots a cowboy hat yes I am, of you call someone who rides horses, ropes cows than no I'm not, but the type of cowboy I consider myself is more of a rookie, I work a lot, and always try to work harder, I wear the typical cowboy garb but it's not the hat and boots that makes you a cowboy, it's the work you put into it.
