Hi! I'm madamasharpless24601. Excuse the long, obscure pen name; I created it years ago and am hard pressed to think of a new one that isn't totally lame. I have a Fanfiction account by the same name; my biggest fanfic is a Spirited Away/Frozen crossover called Ískristallar. On here, I've put my original works, The Forest Chose me (which is complete) and My Own Best Friend (in progress as of May 2020).

I've loved writing from an early age and would sometimes write poems or work on my compositions during fourth grade indoor recess while my classmates all played with Legos. In high school, I started writing Fanfiction to put my characters into hilarious situations, and from there, I branched out into original works.

A bit about me: I am in college and recently got back from a semester (cut short due to coronavirus) in France. I am a huge language nerd and love learning about other cultures, which is quite obvious in my original stories. Aside from writing, I also love singing and plane spotting. The more songs not in English, the better! I am also a HUGE fan of Choices interactive stories. Let's talk about Open Heart!

I write realistic fiction, with romance thrown in as well. I'm a huge romantic and can't NOT include romance in my stories, but I also see far too many stories that are nothing but romance with no real story line. I try to write in a way that incorporates many other elements as well.

I am hoping to establish a following on here. Not just for attention, but to work with other writers to improve together, and maybe even collab for some funny short stories. If you have any suggestions for how to garner readers, feel free to drop a review or PM. I regularly check my Fictionpress, even if I'm not updating.
