Author has written 10 stories for Fantasy, Fantasy, Horror, Song, and General.

With a BA in Travel Writing (a made-up title between myself and the head of department at the time - technically, I have a degree in Creative Writing) through Texas A&M University in College Station...I remember nothing. Class of 2005, woo!

Well...I don't remember how you're SUPPOSED to write. You know, the important stuff.

So, I write how I feel and about what I love - for fun! My grammar is stinky, my punctuation is mangled, and sometimes the content is so emotional that you end up slopping through brain puke. You're welcome.

This place is a sparring ring for me - a place where I wrestle to find my voice. I try to engage with my characters and step into their shoes and draw from my own life experiences and studies. I think of friends and authors I admire and consider where they are coming from and incorporate it here.

Also, I'm really only *here* because of a beautiful friend who is always encouraging me to *KEEP GOING* and keep writing! Through this lovely soul, I've discovered a well of writers (TSOS) who are just as encouraging. While I am writing a novel on my own, here on fiction press I keep all my writings based on the prompts of the group: Twelve Shots of Summer, or TSOS - over in fanfiction.net. THEY'RE THE LITERAL BEST.

This summer - 2018 - I'm reflecting on the beginnings of a key character in my novel-in-progress.

Chapter One in the life of James, focusing on his birth story on the Gulf of Carpenteria. {Twelve Shots of Summer: Go} I rated it M because there's a picture painted of what it's like to give birth.
