Hi everyone! Welcome to my profile!

About me:

I'm here because I love to read and write. When I write, I'm at my favorite cafe with a steaming cup of green tea to my left, my notebook to my right, and my laptop ahead. I've been doing this since I was a kid, really - since I was old enough to hold a pen in my hand. I would fold and staple pieces of paper together, and use them as a picture book. I can still remember my first one (I have an oddly impeccable memory - I can recount full transcripts of conversation I have within three years) - it was based on a dream I'd had where I'd woken up to an erupting volcano outside my window, and there was a team of heroes who'd come to save me. The story only took up about 4 pages out of the forty or so (folded) that I had. I was still living in Utah then, so I was about six years old at the time? Years later, picture books had become 2-3 paragraph notebook stories, and by 13 or so, those paragraph-stories became typed short stories. And now, here I am!

Original Work:

While I do love writing fan fiction (the next section), I do write a lot of original work as well - which is why I'm here! Some of it will be posted, though I am hoping to publish one particular project which I will keep unposted for the time being. I am an economist by education and a writer by nature, nothing would make me happier in this life than to have the opportunity to write all day, each and every day. I make time for the projects I have now, but it would be a remarkable dream come true for this to become my permanent occupation. As such, I appreciate each and every one of you that follow and support my work as it truly means a lot to me, and I will always put my best foot forward for you all! :)

Fan Fiction:

I love to read and write in general, but I find fan fiction exceptionally fun to write. Seriously, it's exceedingly fun for so many reasons. To experience adventure and the warmth of falling in love again and again through different characters and personalities is so rewarding, never mind the excitement of a well-established audience making it double the fun! To write and to read these stories by you amazing writers allows us to live multiple lives in this one lifetime of ours. This is why I will never leave a story unfinished, I always will write regardless of how many comments or favorites I receive - though they do motivate me to get back to it faster! See below if you'd like to check out some of my fics. :)

Thank you all so much for reading this far - I hope you have a fantastic day!

Moonlit Eyes
Devils and angels walk among battlefields and hospitals during war, whispering in people's ears and influencing their choices. I wrote this in honor of my grandfather, who died in WWII from ignoring his own wounds to perform an emergency surgery save a dying child in a village. They renamed their village after him. Visiting it and meeting the now-grown woman inspired this story.
