Author has written 3 stories for Romance. Hello Readers! I am ClayDragonette and I am happy to be here! I am a random writer of things. Some decent, some *wink* indecent. (But no indecent enough because Rated MA isn't allowed... boo now I have to find a place to put up extra smutty stuff if anyone wants to read it... just me? ok...) These stories are just some random things, though I am more used to writing fanfiction, "My Vampire Boyfriend" is the first of my original pieces I'm posting! I am both excited and anxious to see what readers have to say about my original works. So if you have any comments, please feel free to write a review on the stories or message me! As always, thank you for your support! And happy reading. -ClayDragonette UPDATES 6.19.2019: A new story "The Bells of the Empire" is starting! Well, it's already finished, but needs uploading. This story takes place in a fictional Feudal Japanese/Asian empire, Ryuuseihou. Reizou, the Emperor, has just taken on his first, and he claims only, wife. But with harems/polygamy being the tradition for the Emperor, he has to stave off his advisors and convince Suzuna that she deserves her new position. I have to admit, I don't understand how "Manga" is a WRITING category. Seeing as Manga is graphic novel/comic format by necessity. However, due to the topic/premise, I put it there instead of Romance/Drama because I think the viewership will be better in the Manga category. Various manga actually inspired this story. Some of which are "Mikado no Shihou" by Nakano Emiko, "Ookami-heika no Hanayome" by Kauta Mato, "Sabaku no Harem" by Yumeki Mitsuru, and "Nie-hime to Kemono no Ou" by Tomofuji Yuu. 3.23.2019: "Irrevocably Yours" is Uploaded and COMPLETE. A hefty length at 25 chapters, this Word file was over 170 pages with the double space for FictionPress formatting. This story took 30 days to write and did it ever really have a plot? Not really, but I do recall running multiple scenarios through my head. Usually right before I tried to fall asleep. I hope you like this Victorian Era romance. Steamy parts in the last three-ish chapters. It's really hard keeping the couple apart when they're all supposed to be socially proper and everything. But I still like the Victorian Era for some reason. Which is strange, given me being Asian-American and having nothing to do with British history. If you like it, I hope you'll spare a moment to let me know. And if you don't, I hope you'll let me know... kindly. Until next time! 12.4.2018: "The Cat and The Nightingale" is COMPLETE! Essentially, this was an unofficial NaNoWriMo. It was handwritten completely within November, but it took another week for me to type it up. A few notes: 1. I purposely didn't spend much time describing people's features, because it doesn't really matter. Alice's mixed heritage was really the only thing that I cared about. And that was mostly because of her eyes being almond and "cat-like" in the Captain's view. 2. I cannot even begin to understand the agony and mental ramifications being raped or having miscarriages or being in abusive situations is like, so I apologize to anyone who may feel that I have taken the subject too lightly, or that Alice's character is unrealistic. Her mental ability to distance herself and her ability to logic her way into believing certain things, though not likely to happen in the real world, is only a mechanism I use in this fictional world. By all accounts, someone who went through that in the Victorian Era probably would have gotten sick, infected, or died before getting through the story. 3. Why does Alice change her mind so quickly? I dunno. She's in love. In denial. But in love. And she does like sleeping with the Captain. 4. Can a guy really abstain for 4 years? I don't know. the Captain did though! Why? because I stupidly set 7 years as the contract and wanted to fill that time. Time lapse, time lapse, time lapse. Could I have tried to shorten it? Yes, I did. But Alice was being stubborn and wouldn't terminate the contract, so we had extra chapters to have to write. 5. I think I made a mistake and left "the Admiral" in there somewhere. Captain Archer of the Nightingale ship was originally called "the Admiral", but when I was typing it up, I changed it to "the Commodore". But I don't think all those changes went through... Sorry, my bad. ANYWAY. That is it for this story. I hope you enjoyed reading it. I know that I had some fun with writing it. If you read all the way through it and had any strong thoughts of like or dislike, I would love to hear it. Any strong opinions can be PM'd, or reviews are always welcome. Until next story!!!~ 12.3.2018: "The Cat and The Nightingale" is going up! Get ready for 45 chapters of drama~! This story was inspired by Cinderella. Taking aspects from the Disney's live action "Cinderella" and "Ever After", I twisted the tale by asking myself, what would happen if, like in "Ever After" our MC was sold off to cover debts. Alice (in my story) is the daughter of a merchant, who needed to take a loan out for a final voyage, but when he dies at sea and is unable to repay the debt, Alice's stepmother finally gives her away to finalize the debt. Dark twists on Disney's 'Cinderella' of the stepmother's wild parties (turned orgies) gives Alice dark encounters of abuse. Once in the hands of a notoriously vicious leader of an underworld money lending group, Nightingale, how is Alice supposed to survive? What happens to Alice? Can she live her new life or is there something about the Captain that means redemption? Deeeeeefinitely rated M. Should be higher, but I will be editing to soften the blow. *wink* But as long as no one really complains, then it's just going to be heavy on the citrus and the language. These characters can be Craaaaasss. It's going to be a long story, but I hope you enjoy! 10.30.2018: "My Vampire Boyfriend" my first FictionPress story is up! It's a bizarre piece based on the idea that Vampires and supernatural beings should be affected by their girlfriend's periods. It's a strange piece. Definitely a weird one for me based on the social eh-ness of the point of discussion, but I thought it was an interesting analysis on the culture of both "in book" and "reality" societies revolving that idea. Women have periods. It happens. Guys, it's normal. If it weirds you out... how do you think women feel with blood pouring out of them without control and men not understanding how it all works? *coughpoliticscoughbutidontwannagetintothatcuzitsnofun* Anyway, I thought it was a smutty piece that covers the topic. I hope if you read it, that you were at least momentarily entertained. |
