Welcome my faithful minions! Fear not the darkness, for waiting within are many wonderful things for your entertainment... including cookies. Okay, so I'd make an awful overlord. I can dream, right? A little info on me, ('cause I know you're all so curious), and news on my work in the Bulletin Board.

Upcoming Stories:

Plaything. (working title) A short preview into what I will probably be working on for this year's National Novel Writing Month. A sort of haunted house/ghost story/mystery kind of thing, inspired while listening to some of my sister's music. We're not allowed to write anything solid for our choices until November, but I intend to do a short practice run for the characters and tone.

Nightlight. (working title) Again, a preview for a possible NaNoWriMo choice. This one is more of an alternate world fic inspired by driving across Washington state in the middle of the night, listening to Queen. A world where darkness is the norm, and light is both a commodity and a weapon.

Continuing Stories:

For the time being, none of my original works shall be continuing. All older works that were in progress have been discontinued and removed for now, as they were not going anywhere or showed any promise of doing so. My apologies to anyone who might have been waiting for them to continue, but I would rather focus on fresh material.

All of these stories are subject to priority change or disappearing entirely, depending on my attention span, (I’m getting better about that), and my workload. I still have bills to pay, after all.

Random Announcements:

My profile and account here at FictionPress is undergoing some fairly major overhaul after about three years' worth of neglect. I've been out of the writing loop for two and a half of those three, and am in the process of getting my feet back under me with many, many fanfiction pieces to be found at FanFiction(dot)net. The process of working my way back to original fiction is slow, but I am working very hard at re-building my confidence, so please have patience. I will be participating in this year's National Novel Writing Month, and I believe that will help me towards writing originals again. Until the time comes when more originals are being churned out, I hope you enjoy what I have to offer in the way of older material, and check back after November for more! :D

So, with all that said, thanks for stopping by, I hope you enjoy the products of my twisted little mind. If you’re feeling so inclined, please review what you read. Plus, I’ll return the favor and check out any works you have written as well. Whatcha got to lose?

This isn't a story; it's more of an article about the increase in human callousness using various mythical creatures as symbolic examples. If that didn't make sense, read with caution! It’ll be more understandable than you think.
