Time for an update
I've finished education - the English lit books are done with forever - and am now self-employed, so I get plenty of time for writing. Also, I've joined a fortnightly writer's group, who demand a poem and prose piece every meeting, so that's keeping me busy and writing in new areas as well.
So, my work. Um. I used to write a lot of fanfiction, but I wandered over here to post poetry mainly and now do mostly original stuff. My football (soccer) inspired collections come simply from a deep love of the game and my local team; I can honestly claim to have gone through every emotion ever evented in supporting them and I think I made a few up as well. I also broke into journalism through this - I write match reports for the local papers, and let me tell you, it's not easy to describe the third 3-0 defeat in a row without resorting to swearing.
There's also a large collection of romantic work; most of it based about the same man who I had a crush on. No, I'm not giving out his name.
Other poetry on here is more randomly inspired, from thoughts and feelings, song lyrics, whatever and is based on whatever I was intrested in at the time. I have a tendancy to get bored easily, therefore my work meanders.
Fiction wise, I've got a few short pieces up here, with more to come. Covers a wide range of genres, fantasy, war, romance whatever. I've knocked out a few bits that are novel lengthish, and I'm after getting them published.
Reviewing - I love reviews, but quite frankly, I don't get as much time to read others people's work as I would like. I'll try to review yours in exchange, but if I don't, I'm simply trying to get some sleep instead. My apologies, I hope you'll understand.
My actual email is now firstname.lastname@example.org, if you'd like to get in touch. This is a particular invite to male millionaires (single), publishers, and agents but I'd love to hear from anyone really. You are the people that guide my work.
