Hello everyone, I'm Araya. I'm 27 years of age and use she/her pronouns. I'm not exactly a great writer, by my own standards. This can be said by many writers, though, as most writers critique themselves harshly. I do what I can, though, because this is something I enjoy doing. I write stories and poetry. I hope you enjoy my work and feel free to drop a review. I thank you for taking the time to read all of this and for checking out my work. You can find more of my work on DeviantArt and FanFiction, just look up my name ArayaAi.

Free-falling Free Verse
I was literally sitting and saying this out loud before I wrote it down. It's, honestly, about when I felt that my family was controlling my life. It's when I decided that I shouldn't worry about what they will or won't say. That their opinions, honestly, didn't matter because I have to live.

Self-Fulfilled Deadline
I wrote this poem last year under the title "Anemia Codex". At first I was satisfied with the poem, but over time I noticed personal flaws. I realized that I didn't take the time to make it right? So, I went back and rewrote parts, put a proper title, and I'm re-submitting it. The original title is still accurate. Anemia: Lack of blood. Codex: Book. I put my heart in my writing.
