Greetings!

I am Kathryn, I write for my own enjoyment. I do not care if my work is considered "good" or "bad" through somebody else's eyes. I read, I write, I feel, I taste, I smell, I live, I dream, I breathe.

I mostly write haikus and poetry with the rare drabble in fiction. Serious fiction is not my place as I don't have a lot of patience to sit down and write an entire story. I change my mind so frequently I can never stick to one plot line.

I'm inspired by music and emotions. My favorite bands include: Modest Mouse, The Black Heart Procession, Three Mile Pilot, The Mars Volta, Fugazi, Muse, and Ugly Casanova. I also enjoy the sound of waves crashing. I like to be happy but my best writing comes out of depression.

I have a written journal that I write haikus in (two a day) and I decorate it. Writing relaxes me and keeps me from stressing out.
