Explanatory note about some of my stories (mostly the Evencort Series): I'm pretty sure I've said this before, but I thought that I would make it more clear. I am aware that sometimes I use names that have been used in other novels by published authors like Julia Quinn, Lisa Kleypas or Cathy Maxwell, there are two reasons for this: one because it's an inside joke with my friends who are historical romance fans like me, and two: because I'm too lazy to do more research. That's it, I don't mean anything bad by it, I don't do it in bad faith, I'm pretty sure most of the time I acknowledge the source, but sometimes when I go through revision or editing I forget. Like, someone brought to my attention that I used the names Featherington and Whistledown in With You, I know I did, I thought I had acknowledged that they are from Julia Quinn's Bridgerton Series, if you look closely there are tons of references to the Bridgerton family through at the Evencort series, such as the names of Sophie's kids for example.
Again, I don't to this to upset anyone. Just thought I would make it clear. The titles of Lord Burnell and Lord Penhollow are from books by Cathy Maxwell, I can't remember right now what reference to Lisa K I have done, but I probably have, the names Whistledown/Featherington are from Julia Quinn as I said.
This is my disclaimer as I'm a penyless, insomniac college student who's perpetually broke. And I'm certainly not profiting from this other than the nice words from people's reviews.
