I'm currently studying English Lit, History and Creative Writing at university in England, and witing for the day I can write something of real worth... of which I despair as the days go by! However, I give you my feeble attempts, and maybe, someday I will get there... so any critcism would be greatly appreciated- as long as it is constructive, of course!
The most important thing I have learnt about good writing? it comes not from a spontaneous overflow of emotion, but from careful thought. Even the Romantics, famous for their spontaneious poetry, drafted their work. As a matter of fact, Wordworth's 'I wandered lonely as a cloud' was based on a diary entry by his siter, Dorothy Wordsworth.
