Frog was on a lily pad, Rat was on a hill. Frog said, "Write another line!", but Rat had had his fill. "Write your own, you lazy lass, I'm busy...Can't you see?" "Fine...I will...I'll make it good, but it won't be free!" Rat then frowned and asked of Frog, "Who'll pay a coin to read...that crazy nonsense that you write...here...I shall take the lead..." "If you insist," the Frog did smile. She'd won! What-ho! Everybody, go check out my account! Hey, everybody! Last Rose is over. Did you like it? I hope you did. While I'm hard at work on the next chapter of X-Closet, I've also been writing about fifty other stories, somgs, and essays. Two new stories are being posted, now: Birdcage, Rattrap (birdrat) is not the highest literature I've ever touched, but it's fun and funny and full of twists. I'm working on the concept of chapters short enough to be read in one sitting. Walter's Angel is not for everybody. For the record, I think that sexual abuse--especially of children--is one of the most unforgiveable acts a human is capable of. This story is not about that. It is about humanity and reality and perspective. Please give it a chance. By the way, the title 'The Last Rose of Summer' is a reference a beautiful song, which I do not own the rights to (it may be old enough that no one cares), but if I find out, I'll let you know... Thanks to Rushifa (formerly 'Hitomi')you can see rat's own illustrations for 'The Exorcist's Closet'! Check 'em out (THERE'S A SEYRUUNE HIGH-JINKS one, too!)! Please go here, sign 'Hitomi's guest page, look at the nice pictures, then tell rat what you think... |
