Author has written 104 stories for General, General, Love, Life, Essay, Fantasy, War, Action, Humor, and Friendship. Just to start off, for those who do not like the way I review (which is probably why you ran to my bio), tough. If something is wrong with your piece, I will not hesitate to point out exactly what it is. If something is VERY right with it, I will commend you on that. Usually, I offer a Bad/Good side to reviews. Unless the piece is downright bad. But you WILL NOT be criticized negatively without at least a semi-intelligent argument with examples from the piece. If I have nothing nice to say without something in the piece to back me up (IOW: I just don't like it), I won't say anything positive or negative, just that that writer should keep writing. And when it comes to reviews, I really do expect my readers to do the same. It's just intelligent, as well as common, courtesy. If, however, you have an intelligent argument to something I have written, whether it be a review or a piece, where I screwed up, or you just have a good rebuttal, by all means, let me have it. My e-mail address is *points upscreen* right there. But do not write me if you have either A) Have nothing good to say except pointless comments that I do not care about ("ur meen" or "u SUCK"), or B) Use internet lingo for an entire conversation (LOL and LMAO I can deal with, though). By the by, if you really think I'm that bad of a reviewer, there is this cute little button on just about every page of this wonderful site that allows you to Report Possible Abuse. I will never claim to be a nice guy. And while we're at it New Paragraph!Let's take a couple examples of some real reviews, shall we? If you honestly cannot see a difference between these two types of reviews, you probably write the former on a regular basis, and this world has no use for you, except maybe to laugh at. Now, as I like to do in my reviews, enough with the bad, On With The GOOD!!! To my readers: Thank you, THANK you, THANK YOU to each and every one of you who review my works. You guys are great, you really are. Reviews are like Christmas at any time of the year, and other writers know exactly what I am talking about. They're even better when they're constructive criticism, because it shows the writer how to better himself (herself, if that's your case). Anyways, here goes nothing: I'm back again redoing my bio I am currently a freshman at Texas A&M University. On paper, it looks like I've done some great things with my life. In reality, I have merely been at the right place with the right people at the right time for the past nineteen years or so, and I have had a lot of great opportunities. This year I will be extremely busy with both the Corps Of Cadets and, well, just school in general, so if I do not update for a while, I'm still here. I just have more important things to worry about now, like a degree. Writing is just going to have to take the back burner for a while. Nevertheless, "I shall return." Now, onto the pieces themselves. Some are good (in other's opinions, not my own), some are bad (in my opinion alone), and some, well, should never see the light of day (but I like to archive everything that I write). You have been warned. One last thing, just remember: Life is REALLY GOOD STUFF!!! You only get one. Don't waste it. |
