Quizzical Sphinx is an author whose work has been described as possessing no redeeming social or literary value whatsoever--which is why you should read it. Enjoys pina coladas and getting caught in the rain. Current obsessions include revealing the Jungian archetypes embodied in Warner Brothers' cartoon characters, and trying to figure out a way around Emmanuel Kant's narrow view of human morality. Rabid literary critic with English and psychology background. Does line-by-line or overview beta-reading upon request. NEWS! (as of 30 January 2002): MURDER AMONGST MARAUDERS is suffering a set-back--the disk with chapters 7, 8, 9, and the notes for the rest of the story, was damaged. I am working on recreating them as we speak, and have completed most of 7 and 8 and should have at least Chapter 7 up within the week. Chapter 7, "Moon's Run": Lily's had a disturbing vision of the future. She wants Sirius to help her interpret it, but Sirius has found that he suddenly has enemies--everywhere. Chapter 8, "The Devil's Details": Lily and Severus--on the same team? Sirius decides that a little investigation is in order. For those of you who read SONG OF NIGHT and have figured out why Vane's friend in Durmstrang is forbidden to visit Hogwarts (I thought it was almost too obvious, but it's all obvious to me), for the love of God, don't voice your suspicions on the review board! Write to me and I will confirm whether you are right or wrong. Check out my Favourite Stories list! And then check out the authors--all of them rock! I don't recommend 'em if there's nothing to recommend. |
