Author has written 1 story for Essay.

'What a chimera, then, is man! What a novelty! What a monster, what a chaos, what a contradiction, what a prodigy! Judge of all things, feeble worm of the earth, depositary of truth, a sink of uncertainty and error, the glory and the shame of the universe.'- Blaise Pascal

~Don't try to understand me...you'll burst a blood vessel in your brain.~

I'm just your average 20-something Generation Y college student who has NO idea what she plans to do with her life after school.

I don't write very often, and what I do is mainly academic, but I will post it for public domain uses. Go ahead and steal it...I don't need it anymore. I've already gotten my A^_^

When I do write fiction, it's usually bad psychological horror. Internal monologues rock!

Yes, I removed all my poems. Coming out of my first year of college (and forced to go through not one--but TWO!! intense writing seminars), I realize just how much the poems I wrote while I was in high school sucked. Remember, Emo only seems cool when you're 14. Not when you're pushing 20, and while you can write a kickass poem about slitting your wrists and Depeche Mode and "crimson showers" and whatnot, but damned if you know how to cite your sources in APA or MLA or AAA format, and you just lost 10 points on your thesis paper because you forgot that you needed to use tags as well as parenthetical citation...but I digress.
I can't honestly say my 'actual' work is better, but at least my essays hold up to casual perusal--hoorah for liberal arts teachers and their love of words like "avers" and "dichotomy"--and any derivative, nonsensical piece of first-person BS I write in the guise of "fiction" can be passed off (speciously) as "stream of consciousness" which equals "arty".

(I dig parenthesis, ellipses and quotation marks, as you can see:)

Anyway, I can't really pull off the "depressed goth" image, being African-American, and kinda-sorta Jewish (don't ask...just...don't ask...)...
