Hello, hello. I'm KayBird, once known as 'Vampire Kid Kara' (I changed the name because it was a crap name that I came up with when I was, what, ten?).

I'm 19 years old, and have finally graduated from high school (thank ZEUS). I've been writing since I was in the third grade, and plan on doing so until I drop dead because it is the air I breathe, and my life. I suppose, if you could define me as a certain type of writer, I am both a poet and a fiction writer who works under the horror genre mostly. I have been breaking ground under the genres of humor and drama lately, but no matter what I write, I almost always end up adding something slightly dark and morbid in there. I have a love for vampires (have ever since I can remember), but I am NOT a 'Twilight' fan haha. I'm an old school vampire fan.

I should probably also say that my poetry is not...well, "common" poetry. I've kind of changed 'poetry' to fit my own style, so I don't follow a particular rhyme scheme or format. This may cause my poetry to be difficult to read aloud, or comprehend occasionally, but I enjoy writing things that are obscure and thoughtful. So, you must look back and think on what it tells you to truly understand, I suppose.

I should probably note that I am an atheist (or agnostic, depending on what you're talking about), so beware. Some of my writings can be quite anti-religious, but I'm by no means against religion. I simply write what I feel, so do not be offended.
