Author has written 2 stories for Sci-Fi, and Fantasy.
This is the part where I sell myself, right? Explain to you what a fantastic, witty writer I am and how you'll all be better people if you read my stories? How you'll be guaranteed to grow a full, lush head of hair just thanks to my prowess as a writer? Well, I don't know about all that (your hair looks fine the way it is, honest), but I can tell you that I'm a recent college graduate who majored in English (right, who hasn't on fiction writing site?) and love writing sci-fi and fantasy, but with a humorous or modern twist. Sometimes both. I like to mix it up.
Right now, my favorite authors to read are Neil Gaiman and Christopher Moore, though I'm revisiting my old love for K.A. Applegate of Animorphs fame as inspiration for my Young Adult series, The Alliance (soon to be renamed "The Anomalies"). I'm mixing up my time between rewriting the aforementioned YA series and starting my new fantasy story, Kumi (yet another tentative title), about a young warrior who is generally a screw up: he's weak, scrawny, easily distracted, and terribly insecure, all of which is helped by the fact that his best friend is the protégé perfect soldier of their sect. The one thing Kumi is good at, however, is magic. Too bad it's forbidden where he lives.
I've done a lot of art for both my stories, which is over at my deviantArt gallery, and there's a link juuuuust above you. So, if you're looking for a fun, interesting read, please feel free to check my stories out, and I would be very, very grateful if you left some constructive criticism--it's always welcome!
