Author has written 17 stories for General, Humor, Life, Young Adult, Horror, General, Supernatural, and Haiku. Consider this my written consent for you to use anything you see here without sourcing it. (though it would be awfully nice if you did source it) It is all kopylefted (all rights reversed). My name is... well, that's not important right now. I've had this account for a really long time. I decided I guess a few years ago to stop deleting the stories that, when I reread them, I facepalm and wonder how I could have been such a dumbshit when I was that age. Unfortunately, I'm worried this will give the impression that I see no significant problems with the stories on here. Since that isn't even true of stuff I recently posted, let alone stuff I posted when I was, apparently, retarded, I've decided to rate, and possibly at some point review, the stories I've written here in this profile. These are out of 5 stars (pretend the arrow things are stars, the stupid fraggin FP won't save stars, apparently) Balance Beam: (A little pretentious, especially for the age I was when I wrote it) Footsteps: (Well written, to a point, but not exceedingly good) Daggers: (Too short to be more than 3) Poem For Itself: (See comment for Footsteps) Don't Ask Me Why: (Interesting though, not carried out well) Happy Happy Fun Times On The Bus: (This one I'm actually really conflicted about. It's horrible, but it is among the most coherent plots of any of my stories, and I do like some of the humor that isn't instantly recognizable as derivative from... someone) Poker Faced: (This one is really more of a blog entry, and not something most people would be interested in reading, but I just read it after several years and it's interesting to see which parts still apply and which don't, so two stars) Once Upon A Time Stories: (Horrible) The Adventures of Rusty: (A rare coherent plot, funny, probably the most professional looking short story I've ever written, which is really not saying much, but still entertaining) Jane: (+cringe+ originally written during my poseur-phase, then I let it sit for a while, got out of my poseur phase, tried to salvage it, and gave up on it. No plot to speak of) Goth Girl and the Turkey Curse: (I quite like these ones. More vignettes than stories, but they work that way) Unoriginal: (Badly formatted, which I'm too lazy to change, and I think you have to be in my head to know the rhythm I meant to convey, but it needed to be said) The Strangest Night of My Life: (Not well written, but an interesting idea. Also, one of the first stories I've ever written where the main character was a male. And in first person, no less! Impressive) SHE Comes in the Night: (I have a feeling that in a few years, this will be as cringe-worthy as Jane, but right now I quite like it, and it's a really cool idea, meaning that it's an idea that, to my knowledge, no one else had thought of it first) My Haikus: (The forefront of my projects, as far as I'm concerned I can do no wrong when it comes to haiku) |
