My name is Savannah Laurel. I'm living in Laurel,MD right now. It's right outside DC. It just takes a 5 minute metro ride to get into the city. It kinda sucks living in the suburbs but I'll get out soon enough.
I'm a sophomore at UMBC (University of MD, Baltimore Co.) um...It's an alright school I suppose. Perhaps it's a tad too small, but i've gotten over that. I'm an Ancient Studies and Philosophy double major.

My life's ambitions as a kid:
~to be a cement truck driver
~to be a zookeeper
~to be a swamp hag
~to be a cat lady
~to be a construction worker

My current life's ambitions:
~go bungi jumping
~get a tattoo
~to live at the beach someday
~to be a more open-minded person (especially to republicans, pro-lifers, and people who cry on Trading Spaces)
~to die satisfied with life
~learn how to surf
~and finally: to find the Entwives for Treebeard.

I write mainly Digimon stuff but I'm also working on a few Lord of the Rings fics.

Which Digimon01 character am I most like?
~~~I'd say that I'm probably most like Yamato.I can be very standoff-ish and somewhat of a loner sometimes. I need my privacy. But my friends understand that and give me my space.

Which Digimon02 character am I most like?
I'd have to say I'm most like Hikari. Like her, I'm nothing special...just another face in the crowd. I don't have any self confidence and I tend to keep to myself. My friends love me but they really don't understand me. Out of all the digimon characters in all the seasons I'm probably most like Kari.

Which Digimon03 character am I most like?
Definitely Takato. We're both friendly people. But most of the time we don't have the slightest clue what we're doing. But we're both good kids. Like him, I'm sort of afraid of failure. So when things start falling apart in my life I get really upset. But I tend to get over it pretty quickly. Takato's a good kid...He's my fav goggle-head.

Which 04 character am I most like?
I'm not like any of those weirdos. They're all good kids...but they're just weird. Well, perhaps I just don't know them well enough. But I swear that I look just like Kouji. He looks like me on testosterine.

Who's my favorite digimon character? I love all the characters (even Yama, Juri, and Kari, despite what I say about them) but my fav character is definitely Iori. He's the nicest kid you could ever hope to be friends with. And although he can be very stubborn and a little bit judgemental he's got a good heart. I don't understand why more people don't like him. He's really an awesome kid. I guess I'm sort of intrigued by him. I wish there were more people like him. The world would be a better place.

-Sora:I've always loved her. Don't know why. I just do. Sometimes she tries to act too mature but we all have our faults. Everyone needs to give this gal a break.
-Miyako:Lots of people don't like her. I don't have the slightest clue why. She's cute...she's absolutely hilarious...and besides Ruki she's the most hardcore girl in the series. Whoever decided to make her a house wife needs to be dragged out in the street and shot. If anything, Ken should've been the house wife and Miyako the detective.
-TK: I like him because he's got a pot on his head and it gives me an excuse to call him "Pot-head" and because his DNA digivolution partner is Iori.
-Izzy: He's short and sweet. Nothing more needs to be said.
-Jyou: He's cynical and funny...and he's got a heart of gold. He was so afraid of just about everything but he overcame his fears and became a hero anyways. Way to go Jyou!
-Ruki: She's awesome. The most hardcore digi-girl of them all. She is definitely no pushover and she's got guts of steel. You gotta love that Ruki!
-Hirokazu: He's silly and hilarious. The most whimsical character out of everyone in Digimon. What more could you ask for in a person? I just love the kid so much. He rocks.
-Kenta: He's awesome. Just plain awesome. Everyone bask in the glory that is Kenta.
-Takato: sweet kid...loves his friends and his digimon...tries his best all the time. Ya can't help but love him.
-Jenyra: (I think that's his Japanese name...for all us Americans, it's Henry) He's awesome. He keeps Ruki in check and is a really smart kid. Sometimes he's a tad too serious but it's all good. It's nice to see him smile. And plus, he's got an orange vest. Anyone with an orange vest is automatically on my 'A'team.

Favorite digimon: (so, so many)
-Impmon: He's cute and hilarious. And he makes ammends with Ai and Makato after leaving them. That takes some serious guts.
-Tentomon:He's cute and hilarious. I love the annal obsession he has with the twigs in his tree. I find it adorable. And when he was saying goodbye to Izzy in 01...that scene was just pure gold.
-Garudamon: Most hardcore chick digimon in all the seasons. She looked cool and had an awesome attack. And she didn't have any boobies...gah, what I wouldn't give to not have boobies. She looked like a farkin' guy...how cool is that? I love her so much.
-Birdramon: She just looked awesome. I loved her snout/beak. And her overbight and crooked teeth were awesome. Gotta love that Birdramon.
-Gomamon: sweet, cute, hilarious. He's just an all around good digimon.
-Guillmon: The dubbers actually gave him a good voice. WAY TO GO DUBBERS! I love that Guillmon. He's so sweet, innocent, and naive. I just fell in love with him. Growlmon is pretty cool too.

THE FOLLOWING DIGIMON IS THE MOST AWESOME DIGIMON EVER. JUST ABOUT THE ONLY GOOD THING 04 HAS DONE WAS INTRODUCE THIS DIGIMON INTO THE SERIES:
-Pippismon: Not only does his name sound like Pippin...but he's a bat digimon and he has knives for feet and hands. Bats are my fav animals so I was glad to see a very awesome bat digimon. He was so cute...one of the cutest digimon ever. And he was pretty hardcore at the same time. I want Pippismon.

Which LOTR character am I most like?
~~I'm probably most like Celeborn. I'm just kind of there.
...But I'm also a bit like Frodo. I like to keep to myself. I'm pretty weird and everyone seems to notice my strangeness. But I pretty much have a good heart even if the screws in my head are a little loose.

Who are my favorite LOTR characters?
~~MERRY AND PIPPIN ALL THE WAY!!! You gotta love those two. The funniest, silliest, whimsiest kids you could ever meet. I love Merry and Pip.
~~Boromir comes in a close second. He's an awesome man! He's got a heart of gold and he loves Merry and Pip just as much as I do. Anyone who says he has a weak mind couldn't be more wrong. I don't care if the ring did seduce him. He was able to get over his obsession and make ammends for it by protecting Merry and Pip. Anyways, the ring was very powerful...I'm sure if you were in his position you'd probably have been seduced too. Give the man a break. We all make mistakes. I don't understand why people don't like him. It makes absolutely no sense to me.
~~Gimli and Legolas are next. I tried so hard to hate Legolas...simply because of the fact that everyone else seemed to like him so much. But try as I might, I couldn't hate him. He's an awesome awesome elf and people have good reason to like him. But not enough people like Gimli. How can you not like him? He's smart; he's funny; and he's hardcore.
The reason I love these two so much is because they were two very different people who became the best of friends. They couldn't have hated each other more...but they overcame their hostility towards each other and became such close friends. We could all learn a lesson from them.

Fics that I'm working on:
~~Ruki/Juri friendship fic. Ruki never cries, right? Wrong! Juri tells the rest of the tamers of an occasion where Ruki was balling her eyes out. And much to my dismay, no. This fic is not slash.
~~Hikari fic. She's probably my least favorite character but I'm writing a fic about her anyways. Don't ask me why. It's an AU fic. There is slash...nothing distasteful...just cuteness. But there are also straight pairings. I'm not going to summarize...don't want to give it away.
~~Hirokazu/Kenta fic. I haven't decided whether it's going to be slash or just friendship. But I'm leaning more towards slash. Kazu gets deathly ill and is sent to the hospital...yada yada yada. It's actually a really good fic even though it's kind of trite.
~~Merry and Pip fic. Merry and Pippin go on an adventure to find the entwives...WOOHOO!
