Author has written 12 stories for General, Fantasy, Young Adult, Love, and Biography.I’ve always wondered exactly what it was that changed my perspective on life. My childhood was idyllic during the years that most ‘doctors’ claim to be the most important – they say that a child’s path is chosen during their first five years when they’re most malleable. I lived with my mother and father in a three-bedroom house. My room was across the landing from my little brother’s.
I lived in a dreamy haze of fluffy pink and white. My brother, Kajar, played surrounded by cheerfully smiling animals. Over the linen cabinet beside our shared bathroom hung a massive dream catcher. Intricately woven spider web strands and bits of turquoise spanned the wide hoop.
The theory behind the catcher is as such; when you dream at night all your dreams are floating about the air. The good ones pass by the catcher without any problem, but the nightmares grow tangled in its web-like strands and don’t enter your sleep. Whatever happened while I slept, I slept soundly. So much so, that I now keep a small light blue dream catcher hanging in my room to guard my dreams.
Welcome to my life...
