All right, a little bit about myself...

Name: Minka – well, at least that is the only one that I shall tell you. Oh, and I have just found out that Minka means Strong and Resolute in German!

Age: 17

Muses’: Derrick; a smart-ass, wise-crack bastard that I created for a RPG – he just decided to hang around! There are a few Elves floating around somewhere, but I think they kinda ran off...

Books: Anything by Anne Rice, Marrion Zimmer Bradely and John Marsden. Also LOVE the Gormenghast Trilogy by Mervyn Peake.

Writers: Mervyn Peake (I would KILL to be able to capture a moment in time as well as he does; not to mention his eye for detail!)and Marrion Zimmer Bradely.

Movies: The Lord of the Rings (obviously), The Matrix trilogy, From Hell, The Crow, Pirates of the Caribbean, Gangs of New York, The Mists of Avalon, Interview with the Vampire, Black Hawk Down, Resident Evil, Sleepy Hollow, The 13th Warrior, Original Sin, The Patriot, and anything else that is kinda creepy and violent!

T.V. Shows: Scrubs, The Crow, Stairway to Heaven, Dark Angel (well, the second season sucked, but the first was good) Will and Grace, Hornblower, and a few others, but not all that many.

Music: Evanescence, Inkubus Sukkubus, Rob Zombie, Dry Cell, Linkin Park, Ill Nino, Crash Palace, George, Goo Goo Dolls, Garbage, Adema, Kidneythieves, and lots of other songs from various artists. At the moment I am obsessed with “Burn’ by the Cure, “Dragula” by Rob Zombie, “Vampyre Erotica”, “Paint it Black” and “I am the One” by Inkubus Sukkubus, “Dissolved Girl” by Massive Attack and “When the World Ends (the Matrix mix)” by The Dave Matthews Band.

Story Types: Ones that involve as much torture, battle scenes and blood as possible. I do not read many romances, and keep well away from Mary-Sues. I like the evil stuff, the horror, the action and the violence – fun!!!!!!

Guys: Ok, big shock, Orlando Bloom, Legolas (ok, same guy but they look different!), Mark Dacascos, Johnny Depp, Keanu Reeves, Hans Matheson (the guy who played Mordred in The Mists of Avalon) and who ever it is that plays Alex in Dark Angel. Haldir and the guy who plays him, Elrohir (ok, so not seen, but that means that he can look REALLY hot in my head), and loan Gruffudd

Books: Umm, there are not really any that I can say that I hate other then Harry Potter!!! I found them a stereotypical disgrace to all that Pagan’s and Wiccan’s stand for as well as believe in. I mean, flying around on brooms with warts on noses is both insulting and untrue, and we certainly do not wander around with a wand that closely resembles a magicians’!

Writers: Whoever it was that cursed my life and wrote Harry Potter!

Movies: Harry Potter (see above), Hollow Man, anything James Bond!!!! Titanic, all Arnold Schwarzenegger movies, and I know there is others, but I think I blocked them far out of my mind so I did not have to re-live the horror that is the bad film.

Minka’s quotes for the post:

"The Crow: Tides of sin draw tighter and brighter, hours become heavier and weighted, and the shadows smile...dark and wild."

Last night I was looking up at the stars above and I was wondering...where the fuck is my ceiling??

Learn to love the personality flaws of others – for some it is the only personality that they have...

I am independent and abusive...stay out of my way...

"When you kill a king, you don't stab him in the dark. You kill him where the entire court can watch him die."

"You are dirty. You have to die."

”Still every night I burn, every night I scream your name...”
