News:

12/19/2010-- I've been really getting into "flash fiction" writing lately. It's basically a form of short story that is contained to between 300 and 1000 words... sort of a snapshot compared to the photo album which longer stories make. Most of my recent work seems to be pretty concise and unrelated so it works for me especially well right now. Let me know what you think though! I'm always open to constructive criticism.

12/17/2010-- I attempted NaNoWriMo again, but got distracted halfway through by job applications, interviews and the like and never made it past week two. But I have been jotting out some short stories here and there. Most are unfinished parts of larger things I'm working on or snippits of my life that are taken out of context and warped to make a more interesting story, but I'll be posting some of them here. And, as always, as I post I'll be scouring the boards for stuff to comment on. :)

About Me
I used to write nonstop in High School. I was a hopeless romantic, an almost fundamentally conservative Christian, and thought I knew secrets to the world which no man/woman knows or has ever known. Then I left home, went to college, and had a huge wakeup call. I majored in creative writing for my first year and a half before I stressed out, broke down, and hit a major writers block after my Creative Writing: Fiction and the Creative Writing: Poetry. I switched majors to Radio/Comm but the college I was at sold the radio station for money... so I kinda went into a neverending Existential Crisis which led to the major I kept and graduated with: Philosophy (and a minor in Religion).

I did some webcomics in college (and am still doing comics today), wrote some stories, kept doing some poetry, did radio, and drank a lot more than I should have in my junior/senior year to stay sane amidst all the philosophy and theology. After graduation I worked nights at a hotel for two years and then quit to move closer to home, family, and friends. After spending a good 5 months looking for work I decided to give up and go back to school for Visual Arts and Digital Design, so I'll be doing that in 2011.
