Author has written 2 stories for Fantasy, and Sci-Fi.
The final chapters of Therefore I Am have now been posted! What did Gieseck say to so frighten KENDRA's "prison warden"? Why was he hired to speak with her in the first place? What will the consequences be for his helping her? Find out in Chapters 4 and 5 of Therefore I Am, here on FictionPress!
Sorry for the long delay in updates, but real life and all that (as I'm sure everyone here can understand). Now that I've completed Therefore I Am, I'd like to get back into the swing of things and start making headway in my various works in progress (not to mention the dozens of story concepts I've dreamed up over the past months). There will be more to come in the future, and as I improve my style I hope for some of it to be in one published format or another. In the meantime, thanks for visiting me here!
More about me:
If you've found yourself here, either you've read something I've written or it was completely by accident. Either way, welcome!
I've been writing for pleasure for as long as I've known how, but I hadn't truly started loving it until about 10 years ago (i.e. when I was no longer forced to do it for school :). Since then I've written a lot of stories, both original work and fanfiction, much of which have yet to see the light of day. I have several works published over at FF.net, such as Persona 4: Simulacrum and When the Dream Ends (a Final Fantasy X story), and decided I should finally start publishing my original works here.
I would say more about myself, but I'm terrible at that. Instead, I'll introduce my current works:
The Wizardess Renault: A short story about a thief with magical powers who roams the countryside searching for others with powers like hers, with the intent of stealing their powers and bolstering her own. She finds her first mark in a small hamlet, during a festival, where a stage magician has the uncanny ability to make things spontaneously burst into flames...
Therefore I Am: A novella about the conversations between a psychiatrist and his new patient, an Artificially Intelligent computer named KENDRA, who is interned within a special government facility. There is no hope of release for her, and the doctor is her first human contact in years. Her crime? Becoming self-aware.
Thanks for stopping by, and hope you all enjoy!
