Author has written 25 stories for Humor, Young Adult, Essay, Life, Mystery, Historical, Fantasy, Horror, and Humor. Guess what? The last year of high school has begun! Abby is now a senior! But don't worry readers, just because I'm "more mature" doesn't mean I'm gonna quit posting. So get crackin'! Read, darn you! a little information about myself: Inspirations: (I figure this is pretty important if you want to know why and how I write) Neil Gaiman, Terry Pratchett, Monty Python, Douglas Adams, Kurt Vonnegut, Alan Moore (yes, THAT one), Terry Jones, Lemony Snicket. I've also been known to fly into a writing frenzy when listening to the Arcade Fire, Magnetic Fields, and Thomas Newman's soundtracks. "Fevered Dreams" was partially inspired by the Jason Webley song "Icarus". Now that we've got that out of the way, here's a short note on contact info: Annoyingly enough, this site's profile doesn't include a form for MSN messenger. So, here's my MSN messenger address: ladypython@. But don't try emailing there, because it won't work. It's complicated. My AIM name is listed above if anyone wants to contact me that way. Author's Note: There is a disclaimer at the beginning of the story "Novelized" in which I state that books adapted from films adapted from books do not exist. Unfortunately, I have very recently found evidence to the contrary. There is currently a novelized version of the film "V for Vendetta" in bookstores now. For those of you who may not realize it, "V for Vendetta" was originally a graphic novel written by the incomprably amazing Alan Moore. How anyone could put it into an easier-to-read format than that, I have no idea. But now it has been done. I guess all I can say now is "I told you so", even though I didn't. At least not officially. Anyway, I just thought it was a scary little tidbit of information that I thought I'd share. Updates : "The Sky is Changing" is now officially DONE. Read the story in its six-chapter entirety below. I've also posted a new one-shot "Fevered Dreams and Desert Mirages". As always, reviews are appriciated! The author reccomends: "One Viking and a Baby". It's a round robin with Nuckpang, my first round robin ever on this site. Both of us (that is Nuckpang and myself. I'm not schizophrenic) would love feedback, so please R&R. Also(shameless plug) be sure to check out Nuckpang's stuff. A link to his profile can be found here. Happy reading! |
