Hmm... Well, I'm Maria. I'm 15, turning 16 fall 2004... Umm...I really like music a lot, even though I suck at playing viola (the only instrument I've ever played) and I can't sing worth 2 squirrels and a paper hat. Bands/Artists I like include The Rapture, AFI, the Cure, the Ramones, Nanook of the North, Franz Ferdinand, Kinky, Manu Chao, Belle & Sebastian, Air, Interpol, Hot Hot Heat, Modest Mouse, Muse, Joy Division, New Order, Porno for Pyros, The Postal Service, Radiohead, the Verve, the Strokes, the Von Bondies, the Walkmen, Weezer, the White Stripes, Stone Temple Pilots, Bauhaus, Le Tigre, and Dresden Dolls. My favorite, though, is the Smashing Pumpkins.

I am an artist. I'm a genius, a child prodigy, you know. At least, that's what I tell people. You can only hear something so many times before you start to believe it.
