So now I'm taking somewhat of a challenge upon myself to create somewhat of a summer collection of poetry, as a way to explore these new paths I've found. This will be what shall be known as the Songs of a Long Summer Spent too Soon. What I hope to do with this is to create a fairly large pool of poetry of anything I happen to get the inspiration to write about. I hope to keep it updated quite frequently, but I'm not going to take quantity over quality. My plan is to create at least two good poems each week, though I may settle with just one if need be. I'm not going to take this long summer for granted, and I'm not going to let this muse I've found get away from me. But just in case it does, I'm more than willing to let you, the audience, hand in suggestions or ideas for poetry or just crazy things you might like to see a poem about. If you happen to submit an idea for this collection, I'll make sure that it is implemented into some form of poetry and you'll get credited for it. So don't be shy. I'm open to anything within reason, and if you don't like what I've written, then let me know. I can take criticism quite well, and I love a good flame every now and then to spice things up. Any ideas, suggestions, critcism, flames, etc. are more than welcome and you can put them either in a review or an email. I hope you enjoy what I've come up with, and if not then tell me about it. A poet cannot live without its audience so I'm going to always try and aim to please.
Not much to else say besides the fact that I write poetry. I do happen to be somewhat of an amateur singer/songwriter and you might notice, if you're bored enough to still be reading this bio, that my homepage is a band website. That's the band I happen to be a part of, and if you're interested then please drop in and look around. We're going to have a huge summer with our music, and all this poetry I'm writing may be implemented into songs which is where my summer collection reaps its title. That's about it. Oh, and don't step on the stuffed tiger's tail. He bites.
