I am pretty new to fanfiction, and thrilled at the welcome I've recieved -- reviews are so precious, they truly keep us writing. I love to read, write, draw and listen to Celtic music or Lord of the Rings-related CD's. I am a Christian, and that definately influences my writing as well as my reading: I won't read any stories over PG-13 rating, or slash stories (see below for my note about that). My favorite book is (obviously) the Lord of the Rings, by J. R. R. Tolkien. I wish more Christians would realize that it's not about 'witchcraft' and 'magic', and a completely Christian book!

Again, thank you for all your kind, encouraging reviews -- I could not write without them!

Regarding Slash* This is in response to a review from 'CCC'. Some things are simply WRONG, and people don't like to admit that. Slash is one of those things, I think, and I believe the Bible supports my belief. I am not trying to offend you, or anyone else, but that is the way I see it, and so there will never be ANY slash intended or implied in any of my fics, no matter how 'non-explicit.' But I hope that we can agree to disagree, and leave it at that. God bless!*

A few great quotes I've found recently, from the silver-tongued Professor Tolkien:

"If you do not believe in a personal God the question: 'What is the purpose of life?' is unaskable and unanswerable. To whom or what would you address the question?" - In a letter to Camilla Unwin

"The Lord of the Rings is of course a fundamentally religious and Catholic work, unconsciously so at first, but consciously so in the revision. That is why I have not put in (or cut out) practically all references to anything like 'religion'... to cults and practices in the imaginary world... for the religious element is absorbed into the story and the symbolism." - from a letter to Robery Murray

More quotes as I find them! :-)

- 23 May 2002: Terribly sorry about the delay in 'What Could Possibly Happen?' - I am taking a short break from it (I know; again!). But the next chapter should be up shortly. Thanks for your patience!

-10 June 2002: Thanks so much to those of you who have reviewed my untitled Lotho story; I will try my best to get Chapter 2 up there soon. Thanks again!

-29 June 2002: I'm taking yet another break from "What Could Possibly Happen?" to write a few other stories. This will hopefully not be long, and I'm working on finishing chapter 20.

-20 July 2002: Don't get too excited about all the new chapters of What Could Possibly Happen?, m'dear readers. I'm still plodding along with chapter 23, and about to begin with 24. I might try to post them together, but more than likely, you'll just have to be satisfied with one chapter at a time. :)

- 26 September 2002: To those of you who reviewed "Marshal of the Mark" -- fear not! I *am* going to continue it, but I've hit a bump in the up-coming chapter, so it has taken me longer than I expected. Thanks for your patience!
